My AC unit went out so I contacted my warranty company Choice Home Warranty and they sent Quality Air & Insulation out and I was told I would need a new unit. So on January 4, 2023 they installed a new unit and my portion after my insurance was $1,705.00. They sent me the attached receipt but no information on my new unit like make and model and nothing about the warranty. I have emailed them 4 times and have called and spoke to them twice and I still have not gotten the information requested. I have been told by another company that the new unit needed to be registered in order for the warranty to be in effect. Quality Air told me it didn't need to be registered. I'm starting to feel like something is fishy and maybe I didn't get a brand new unit like I paid for.
