      Sent following email to *******@getlanes.net on 11/17/2021: In mid-October, you came to my home in *** ******* at **** ********** *** ***** in ****** ***** to assess some damage to my refrigerator that occurred when a Lane's technician performed a special cockroach remediation on 9/8/2021. At the time you took photos of the damage and of the serial/model information on the inside of the refrigerator. I was wondering what the status of this issue is? I have not heard anything about how long this will take to get fixed, and why it is taking so long... Please provide me with any information that is available. had started by sending following email to *******@getlanes.net on 9/20/2021: We had a technician come to our condo in bay Meadows on wed 9/8/2021 to take care of a roach infestation that we had. Yesterday I noticed cracks and broken pieces in a plastic bar that goes across the top of our refrigerator. This had to have happened when the tech moved our refrigerator to treat behind it. I know that our refrigerator is difficult to move because it has "sunk" a little into the flooring - but I was not notified that this occurred. Please advise on what we can do to get this repaired - preferably at your company's cost... multiple phone messages were left with Mike C***** regarding the issue with no response. Other emails also went unanswered. A call to tracy carter resulted in original technician visiting and telling me that I had moved the fridge before he started - but that was NOT true. I would just like to get my refrigerator fixed!!

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/26) */ When the complaint was received from Mrs. ******, a representative was sent to the unit. Pictures were taken of the trim piece that had damage to it. When the representative returned to the office, the employee that was being accused of the damage, was contacted to give his response on performing the service. The Lanes employee is an 18-year employee that is a supervisor for the company. The employee explained that the service had to be rescheduled because the refrigerator could not be moved on the initial visit. When the employee arrived for the rescheduled service, the refrigerator had been moved by someone else. He was unsure if it was the owner of the unit or the property manager that moved the refrigerator. Lanes is contracted through a property management company not the individual owners/tenants. The supervisor that was there on both occasions for the German roach issue, visited the property to discuss this with the homeowner. It was explained that the refrigerator was not damaged by him, it was moved by someone else prior to the second service. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) First of all the scheduled remediation was NOT rescheduled - company showed up on scheduled day when only ***** was home- and ***** couldn't move refrigerator on her own due to arthritis- did not notice damage right away due to it's location.
