I was not able to file a complaint as the problem just came about with the shower handle.Business response

The following images below will show the scope of the work and changes that were made due to her budget. The work done involved the following rooms... 2 bedrooms, bathroom, laundry room, hallway, dining, living room, and foyer. Our Job was completed, we were paid, ********* was also happy with our work, so much she has referred us to 3 of her neighbors and others. This Job was completed April of 2022. It has been completed for 2yrs and 7 months. Now lets get to the part where she says now the work wasn't completed and she isn't happy!
On Nov. 26th of 2024 she called and wanted us to quote her kitchen and figure out the issue with the shower handle. There was no conversation about any leaks like she mentioned in her compliant. We were working with her about the issue with the handle. But, note, we can not come and fix anything on a drop of a dime but we was willing to try to fit her in our schedule to fix the shower handle.
We run a 3 person labor crew, we had 2 jobs going on with 1 guy on each job. I had to be on 1 of the jobs and physically do the work myself due to a leak from the upstairs bathroom into the downstairs foyer. We had an employee being out due to being at the hospital with his 2yr. daughter which had been put on oxygen due to RSV. When my wife (****) spoke with ********* on the 10th of December about the situation that was going on and why we wasn't there on time she replied she didn't care and that not was her problem she had an appointment. My wife said I will have *** to call you back. ********* not knowing that the child in the hospital was our Granddaughter and besides that our Employees are like family!
This issue is with the Hard water. The Trim kit only has a limited 1 year warranty. In the image below you will see my notes where she wanted the shower faucet to stay and we purchased a trim kit. The reason there was a no call back after December 10th of 2024 was because of her attitude and it was out of the warranty.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
They make it sound like they re-done my whole house, they put up 4 doors in the following areas: both bedrooms, bathroom,and the masterbedroom. They did the foyer as they call it, there was water damage in there, around the small window and a bench, that was pulled away from the wall, they removed a partition of plywood and put up paneling. As for the bathroom, they used a Delta sprayer, and a off brand backplate and handle made of polished nickel which does not match the sprayer. Stainless steel dors not peel, and this is the issue with the baclplate and handle. As for the warranty they dif not give me any indication that there was a year warranty on that backplate or handle. As for the monies I paid them the job should of been done as any professional should had completed. As for my appointment with them they made the app't, but did not show up, nor did they call, and when I called them, **** was giving all sirts of excuses, I did not call for that reason I callrd for the repairs to be completed. Hard water is not somerhing that I can control, and was not told anything about this when the job was being done. I am not one who likes to complain, but in this case I feel like the job was not completed as it was suppose to be. The backplate and handle should of been stainless steel to match the sprayer. I want the backplate to be replaced and the handle as it should of been done in the first place.Business response

I'm sorry, but this job is out of warranty. This complaint is 2.5 years after completion.
