On October 5th, 2023, Luke & I signed a lease with the True North Asset Group/******* ******** for a three bedroom, two bathroom home. We found this home for rent (fully furnished) on ********* ******. Upon arrival to the home, it wasn't the home we had selected to sign the lease for , nor was it the same size. It was instead a two bedroom, one bathroom home. When we asked about the discrepancy, no explanation was given. It was also lacking items that it stated on the site that it had (microwave, kitchen towels, clothing storage space, etc.) We were asked for a list of what was still needed, yet after a few weeks, we had yet to receive any of it. The lease also stated that a snow blower and shovel would be provided for snow removal, however there was neither when we moved in. After nearly a month, we received a small snow shovel that was inadequate for the job of clearing a driveway and sidewalk along two sides of the home. When we requested that a snow blower be provided, we were told that we could move out. Feeling threatened with having our housing taking away from us at any moment, we found other housing for the rest of our stay out here. Upon requesting written verification that we were released of the lease and requesting our deposit back, Shannon stated that she had blocked my number and instructed her staff to call the police if we tried to come to the office. I made several attempts to contact her and try to resolve the issue, with no resolution.
