    The Crew responded to our phone call for restoration assistance due to a fire on 12.15.2022. They assessed our need, brought an air cleaner, and garage heater, and assisted building a temporary support wall. We agree that we owe them money, but are unsuccessful in our request to review our bill with them. We believe we are being overbilled, we never received the report outlining damages and a restoration plan as promised, and that we were charged for services we never received. Further, we believe that using the garage heater caused more damage than it prevented. Our insurance company has also failed in getting this report which has slowed the restoration of our home. I have communicated with Kyle ******, president, expressing my concerns via email and offered an amount as a starting point to discuss the bill, come to an agreement, and pay him. After trying via phone and email, I have heard nothing from him to discuss the charges. Today, we received information that The Crew intends to put a mechanic's lien on us for payment. Nobody wants this issue over more than me, and it seems that this could have been resolved long ago with some effective communication from Kyle. One of his employees did call me, but this conversation was one-sided and the employee basically bashed his employer - Mr. ******. He ended up ****** hanging up on me. I have details of the conversation if it would be helpful. In summary, we acknowledge that we owe them money. We question the amount and have requested an opportunity to discuss the invoice and amounts. We think that an independent arbitrator from the BBB might provide a solution to resolve our issues and questions, get The Crew paid, and move on. Thank you - -
