This credit card company issues cards at a $300 starting limit with the option or moreso promise of raising your credit limit with 6 mo's of on time payments. I've had the card for 2 years now and used it actively. I've made EVERY payment on time without ever missing once and have not seen an increase in my credit limit. I have reached out to customer support several times & been dismissed & given the run around...purposely. Their practices are ambiguous misleading & unprofessional with many other poor reviews from cardholders online to validate what I am saying. Being confined to a stagnant $300 limit with a high annual fee for 2 years is crippling & unuseful.I simply want my limit increased to a minimum $500 or have the account closed immediately.Business response

This matter did not receive viable responses from the merchant with any "specific" information disputing statements mentioned in my rebuttal. But rather just bland general company talk applicable to someone who's had no dealings with them. They've received hundreds if not thousands of complaints & reviews on other sites for these dismissive tactics.Initial Complaint

I received a credit card offer via mail, applied, was granted approval for a sum of $200. I read the disclosures and after approval I was prompted to pay the $95 fee, to which I was given 3 options to pay; 1) pay full amount 2) pay in 2 installments 3) pay in 3 installments. I chose the 3 installments and agreed to pay $31.67 with the next payment due in 2 weeks. I put in my card number, got a notification that payment was successfully made, except instead of taking the $31.67 I agreed to, they took the full amount of $95. I immediately emailed the email address that was given for one of the ways of communication for them. I told them what they had done and how I had agreed to 3 payments and if they weren't going to fix it, to just cancel my card, and give me my $95 back, because I don't like being blindsided. I received an email stating to call a 1-800 number. I responded with the explanation of me not being able to call because I am at work and to just forget the card. It shouldn't be this difficult to come to an immediate resolution. I have yet to hear back from them. This is ridiculous and super shady business practices.Business response

I never used the card and called to cancel the card due to the high annual fee and monthly fees either in February or March. They said they cancelled it and my balance was zero. Then, I received a late payment warning on my credit report for a Revvi card. So, I called again on April 16, 2024 and was informed that I had to pay the annual fee, monthly charges, and a late fee before I could cancel the card. Again, I have never used the card but they required me to pay $135.73 to cancel it to get it off my credit report. I should not have been required to pay anything since it was supposed to be canceled last month or the month before. Today I received a bill from them for $135.73 again. To resolve this issue, I request the card be canceled immediately and a refund of $135.73 be provided to me since I had never used the card and had already previously cancelled it. Thank you.Business response

I have never applied for a credit card with this company and do not want an credit card with this company, but when I spoke with this company they refused to cancel any cards that would be sent out to anyone in my name and any charges that would be incurred on the card, even though I had enough applied for this card.Business response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: I never submitted an application that is why they were unable to verify my information and I am wanting them to delete their hard inquiry off my credit report and to close this account, I received a credit card from them in the mail Saturday (4/27/2024) so they have not closed this account, so I am wanting this account closed and I am wanting proof that it is closed and that everything has been removed from my credit report and that I have no charges associated with this card that I did not request/want and have tried to cancel since I received the first email and that have refused and told me that they don't know how to cancel it and close the account for their own card.
Sincerely,
