I have been trying to clear up a payment of $***** that they say was rejected but I have submitted proof from my bank that it was paid. The payment was made by phone to Culligan in Yankton on 3/31/2023 and at the time they were changing accounting systems and the payment was credited to ******* *****, which is their parent company. They claim they cannot find the payment and it must be in a holding account at my bank. I called my credit union **** ******* and they said no the payment cleared and gave me printout showing such. I forwarded that to Culligan in Yankton to Russell *********** email. The problem is I keep getting notices from Culligan stating I owe the payment. Each time I call them and explain they say they are going to take care of it but it’s still on my account as a balance due and I don’t want my credit score to be jeopardized over $***** plus interest. I was going to just pay it but why, this is not my fault. Help me please resolve this. I would like an apology from the company and at least a month of free service for the time I have put into this.
