1 starAlcoa TN location caused major damage to 23 Tundra. it was very obvious it happened in the carwash and my truck was perfect with no scratches or flaws before i went in. The damage is so deep it needs to go to a body shop. The whole hood will need to be taken off and filled in and then painted. SERIOUS DAMAGE!! The worst part was the customer service afterwards.. I went over showed the damage and filed a claim. 3 months went by with me calling almost every few days to get an update and NO BODY would return my calls.. Finally after threating to get my lawyer involved someone called back and said my claim was denied due to it had the damage before i drove in.. LIES LIES LIES This place is a joke and if you have a nice vehicle and want to keep it that way go somewhere else.. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!Review fromEmily T

1 starMy husband and I had used the car wash for over a year when the machinery broke his side view mirror. He went to the employee to explain what happened and he asked him “Was it on the left side?” before my husband could say, alluding to the fact that the employee knew something wasn’t working correctly on the left side machinery. After filing the claim (because their terms and conditions does mention being liable for damage if there is a problem with the machines), two weeks later the company emailed saying they weren’t responsibility since there wasn’t any “apparent” malfunction. Considering how often we had come to the car wash (once or twice a week) it’s very hard to believe that this incident didn’t occur due to a malfunction on their end. After this incident we soon moved and wanted to cancel. Two weeks before the automatic withdrawal for the membership was due for my car, we went inside one of the store’s location and requested a cancellation. The employee proceeded to do some work on the computer and then handed us a receipt saying everything was taken care of and didn’t mention that we needed to do anything else to cancel. We ended up still being charged so I called customer service and the lady on the phone mentioned that at times the store will process a cancellation but they don’t do it on their end. She said there wasn’t any problem and she was going to process it. She mentioned if the pending charge did go through that I just needed to call back and they’ll issue the refund. The charge still went through so I called again and now there’s a chance we won’t get our money back because “per their terms and conditions they require us to call and cancel.” Nowhere in their terms and conditions do I see this mentioned. Why would an employee at a store location even have the ability to cancel a membership if we’re “supposed” to cancel it on the phone? Not to mention my husband canceled his car’s subscription online and that processed through with no issue.Review fromAlphonso H

1 starUnacceptable Experience at Oak Ridge Location I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at the PureMagic Car Wash in Oak Ridge (360 S Illinois Ave) on April 5, 2025, around 10–11 AM. I stopped by to use the free air station, which is advertised as available to the public. However, the layout of this location forces all traffic through the car wash line—there’s no clearly marked exit or way to access the air station directly. There were over 10 cars in line, and I had no intention of using the wash—I simply needed air for my son’s bicycle tire. Since there was no “No U-turn” sign, I safely made a U-turn in a spacious area to access the air station. A manager came out and warned me that I would have to buy a car wash next time just to get to the air area. I tried to explain the poor layout and lack of proper signage, but she instead told me I was banned from the property—all for trying to use the free air. When I called her out for being unfair, she escalated the situation by calling the police on her walkie-talkie. The police didn’t even engage with me, clearly understanding that no law was broken. In my opinion, this setup should be considered a traffic violation—it effectively traps drivers in a service line with no legal or safe option to exit without making a purchase. This is a serious concern, especially for families or people with mobility issues who need to access the air station without being stuck behind a car wash line. This location needs better signage, a clear exit route, and serious training in customer service. Banning someone and calling the police over such a minor issue is outrageous and reflects very poorly on the management.Review fromLuke C

1 starI have been going to the car wash in my truck with no problems for years. I bought a car a took it and it damaged two wheels on the drivers side. The attendant watched it happen and tried turning the wash off faster. He said he would file a claim and that it would be fixed. 3 weeks later I get an email saying they wasn’t going to fix it cause it looked like damage from hitting a curb. It has their paint on it and their employee watched it happen and gave me his info in case I needed him to tell them. Pure magic still denies responsibility. I am now canceling all 4 vehicles membership and telling everyone I know about them. I bet I take more business from them than these two wheels cost as I’ll be holding up signs this weekend that it’s pretty out.Review fromDarlene S

1 starMy vehicle was damaged going through the wash because a car had stopped at exit and blew the horn but the attendant heard the horn instead of stopping the conveyor he chose to try find out what the problem was by that time it was to late I had hit the other car who drove off . I was told by the manager that he would file a claim but they always are turned down so now I am out $500 deductible and it will go on my record. When that belt is moving you can’t stop your car beware and they will not have any faultReview fromLaurie B

1 starRipped off the gas tank door as well as bent it back enough to leave a dent mark in the left rear quarter panel BRAND NEW CAR ... 5 MONTHS.....had no problems other than sometimes I would come out of wash and have to close the gas tank door. This time it ripped it off, left a dent in a perfect paint and body job, to top it off, they refuse to take responsibility. Then as I am posting reviews, I see another guy with same issue just 2 weeks ago, posted the EXACT SAME refusal to accept responsibility email I got. WHO WANTS IN ON CLASS ACTION WITH ME?
