    The sales people stress that you need to have internet. Not once did they mention that I had to have a phone **** in the room the phone would be used in. I got all the way up to the day the technician was coming to install it. She asked me about the landline ***** I told her I don't have a landline **** on the main floor because my phones are handheld and I can walk all around with them. But you can't do that with this clear caption phone. This was a total waste of time

    This is the 30th of September. So far I have been stood up THREE times for installation BY CLEAR CAPTIONS.. I give them ZERO stars so far. I will post if I ever get one of these phones. Now that they have all my personal information, does anyone know if they are charging the government for my invisible phone service? This morning I didn't even get a call from the installer. Pretty sick HUH? When I call the Clear Captions company and they tell me that the installer will contact me and they ask for my phone number again. Sounds so much like a scam, but I see that SOME people have gotten their phones, so I remain hopeful, but suspicious.. Does any other company offer this service? Sorry to say I had to leave one star in order to get this message out there.

    I just received my Clear Captions phone and the captions piece is not even close to translating incoming calls. I would estimate that it only correctly translates less than 25 percent of my incoming calls. It is more confusing than just trying to carefully hear what the callers are saying! Very disappointing!

    I ordered a ClearCaption phone and was given an appointment date to have it hooked up. I stayed home all day waiting for someone to show up but they were a no show. Later that night I checked my emails to find that they had sent me a message during the time they were suppose to be here telling me I had a new appointment on a day that I had already told them I was unavailable for. I was then given a new date and time with a no show once again. If I call and am given a third time and date with a no show I will be reporting them to the *** which is who is paying them to let them know about the kind of service are they giving thier clients. Hopefully they will take care of bussines then or lose thier contract. The least they can do is give you a curtesty call when they can not make it instead of wasting your entire day waiting on them. Until they can get thier there (....) togeather they don't deserve a goverment contract. By the way thier excuses are rediculouse.

    I think the phone itself is a great idea. My 87 year old father got a new modem and knows nothing about internet. They refused to send a tech to help him. He had to wait until I could get there (and I care for my bedridden mom in my home and work). They tried to walk him through (over the phone) but he was unable to understand, partly bc he is clueless about the internet and also bc he couldn't hear/understand the **** thus why he needs the captions.

    Not a very reliable company as I had a scheduled appointment for install and the technician went out of town and never reached out to reschedule the install now I am being told that their availability is about a month away from my previous date. I am in need of this service and phone as I am hard of hearing and makes it hard for me to use a regular house phone. They should have also mentioned that you can do a self install of the service.

    TOTAL SCAM. Made it VERY CLEAR that I wanted to do a self install the salesperson said that was OK. Fine,,,, received the phone and tried to finish install,,needed a password,,,,called customer support,,, refused to give me a password as they did not provide for self install. Don't like being lied to,,,and it wasn't because of my hearing had my volume all the way up. So,,,I packed up the phone used the provided return shipping label (says a lot about a company when they include a return label in their packaging) Two days later I receive an e-mail giving me an install date and telling me I would need to pay $20.00 upon completion of install. Sent return e-mail telling them to cancel the unwanted and refused appointment. Two days later I get a phone call to confirm the install appointment, when I told the woman I had already sent the phone back she acted like she didn't believe me. had to block numbers because they would not stop calling, texting and e-mailing.

    My man friend **** lives in a nursing home in ***********. **** has a brain injury but he wanted this phone so he orded it his self and the box came to the nursing home and the guy came 3 days later to hook it up. Just like they said and **** loves his phone it helps him understand people on the phone better! Thank you

    No stars!!! I am very disappointed in this company that suppose to be Federal funded! I had service set up for my Father and 4 times no show from the technicians.I keep hearing the same sorry excuses why the technicians didn't show up to install the phone.I was told two technicians were scheduled neither showed.Don't take advantage of people time! I'm in another city than my Father trying to get the matter resolved! I will be calling the *** *******************, make a complain to the governor's office, let the media and news know about what we had to go through with *************. This suppose to be funded to help those who are impaired!! My father is of age and very upset for waiting 4 times since January 2023.His time is valuable!!! All I get is emails from *************..Problem resolved case closed.No problem resolved!!! That's not professional sending emails that haven't resolved the ongoing prolonged issue!! We entrusted ************* Company !! They FAILED!! CB/ **************

    I did order. I decided to read some reviews. After reading the reviews, I called Clearcaptions immediately and cancelled...the reviews were terrifying. They said I would be cancelled.I will write another review when I am sure it was cancelled. When it is too good to be true...it is probably something to stay away from. I will give updates. Be aware.
