1 starOn 3/5/25, I went to ********* to withdraw money from the atm. I needed $500 and the atm machine did not give me the cash. Whenever, I get money out of my account, I always get a message regarding the transaction on my phone. This time a message came across my phone indicating that I withdrew $500. But this was not correct as the machine did not give me any money. I called ComData's customer service and filed a claim and waited the 10 days. I thought things were resolved when I received the $500 back onto my card, but on 4/4/25 they took the $500 from my paycheck. I called ComData's customer service again, but this time they said they couldn't help me. So, I am out of $500. I want my money back and I need BBB to assist me in getting this resolved!Review fromAshley C

I activated my ComData card that *********** *** ****** ********** is FORCING me to use! Today, I want nothing to do with ComData!! Yesterday, I had an issue activating my card. Customer service agent were very rude. Foreign, Asian judging by the accent, which I have no problem with — as long as they provide a good customer service. Agent refused to help me without a 9-digit reference number. They require an 5 digit activation code AND 9 digit reference number. This was a bad very impression on a new customer. ComData agent asked me to call ***********, which helped me activate my card. Today I called in to ask a general question involving the use of a ComData card, can I use it at ATM, does it have a routing number. Agent refused to help bc I didn’t have the 9digit ref no. I said that I THOUGHT the reference number was for activating the card, that I can’t remember a 9 digit no each time I called, asked if I can setup a pin. She said no. I asked for supervisor. The person identified himself as MARK 606 from “escalation dept” was ruder than the first person. I called *********** and asked if I can get a check or use another means of getting mileage reimbursement. They said no, Comdata was the company handling it. So customers are FORCED to deal with some foreign “customer service” agents who must have a different understanding of poor quality service in their country! Logisticare answered all my GENERAL Qs without logging into my accnt, that Comdata insisted on doing to help me. Mark person from “escalation” was extremely rude. Is this is how their supervisor from “escalation”, you can imagine how horrible the first-line agents are. Desperate need of training on the quality customer service that we are accustomed in USA. If I could choose, no way would I do business with Comdata! And I began doing business with them YESTERDAY! That’s how bad customer service is.Comdata Corporation

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience using Comdata’s ******** Payroll Card, and I feel compelled to share my story in hopes of warning others about the lack of transparency and poor customer service. I was an election candidate during the most recent campaign, and I received a direct deposit onto my Comdata ******** payroll card on October 31st. On November 2nd, while I was campaigning at an early voting center, I received notifications of several unauthorized transactions totaling $1,300 on my card. Naturally, I was distressed and immediately called Comdata’s customer service. The first issue arose when I was asked for my card number, which I did not have at the moment. In the midst of a stressful situation, I struggled to recall the number, but eventually managed to provide it. I also filed a police report, reporting the card as stolen. Customer service advised me that I would need to wait 7 days for the transaction to process before I could file a dispute, which I did on November 11th. At this point, I was told I would need to wait an additional 10 business days for an investigation to be conducted before any refund could be issued. This extended delay was already troubling. On November 23rd, I followed up with Comdata, and was told to call back on November 25th. When I called this morning, I was informed that my dispute had been denied and that an email with details had been sent. However, I never received any email or notification of this decision. When I inquired about contacting the fraud department directly, I was told they did not have a phone number and could only be reached via email. I was informed that they would submit a request for the email to be "resent," but at this point, I am left with no clear answers. If you are considering Comdata as a financial service provider, I suggest exploring other options. Based on my experience, I would not trust them to protect my money or provide adequate customer support.Comdata Corporation

***********, We hate to hear about your experience with our service. We strive to make sure that our departments are able to complete their various jobs through out the day and many do not have publicly posted contact information since they do not interact with customers directly. After researching your payroll card, we have contacted our fraud department on your behalf. As a result, a credit has been submitted. Please allow 24-48 business hours for a new e-mail and the credit to appear. If you do not receive the credit, or communication, please send an email to [email protected] using the reference ID of ******** as the subject line. Thank you for providing this feedback and sharing your experience with us. Have a great day.Review fromBetty N

I have been dealing with their customer service department since the end of August. I have written down names, dates and times and still there is no final resolution. In the 8 times I have called I have only received one callback. In the last 5 calls I have made I always request to speak to a supervisor but oddly I can never speak to the same one it is always someone different with the same response, "your case will be escalated to the fraud department not sure why there is no response yet". At first I was told I would be refunded one amount for the fraudulent charges accumulated then I was told a different amount. I went over the dates and the amounts that were fraudulently withdrawn yet they only refunded me three amounts. Their service is horrible. I should not have to wait this long to get my money returned. I don't understand how a corporation with such poor reviews stays in service.Comdata Corporation

I really don't understand why so many trucking companies use this bank's financial management system. This system is terrible and it is very difficult to register, log in and transfer money.Comdata Corporation

3 starsHello I'm writing a customer review about the debit card company Comdata payment solutions in regards to my recent experience with a transaction that was charged to my debit card without my consent. This Sunday Afternoon September 8th 2024 after 1PM. I was checking my balance on my debit card because I was trying to add some money to my **** Smart card so I can ride the bus around my hometown Columbus Ohio and get me some food. Let's keep in mind every once in a while I donate plasma to make money. Yesterday afternoon Saturday September 7th 2024 after I donate plasma $35 dollars was deposited in my account. I keep track of my spending for each transaction I make, I discovered on Sunday afternoon my remaining balance is $3 dollars. The automatic system there is a 18 dollars charge was taken off my card from ****. Immediately called comdata customer support I spoke with two agents and a supervisor. I was informed they mailed me a replacement card and they can file a dispute in regards to my concers. I want my money back I find very weird after 53 days from the original charge of $16 on July 17th 2024 from **** they wanted $18. I was told to contact **** to stop the charge and I can get my money back much faster. There is no way to get in contact with ****. I don't have their ***** **** app on my phone at this time. Yes I'm very upset customer I warn customers please be careful using comdata debit cards. This issue should have never happened they should have put a block on this chaege until I would have given consent. I'm not happy about waiting 10 days for a resolution to my refund. If it's not resolved I'm going to continue to complaint.Review fromJuan J

1 starWorst company ever since day one I had issues where there cards and every time I call everyone in this company gave me a different story. Then when they finally got activated. Never showed by balance on the app .called again and no solution again. Then they hit me with a late fee .that only can be paid on wire transfer. OK I followed there instructions on a wire transfer with the amount they ask for .7 days later there system didn't reflect the wire transfer. Then few hours they could see it .now I have a $20 fee from no where again and called to get it handled and one person says it's a monthly fee and another says it's a reject payment from that pass transaction fee that I already paid .I informed them that I was not doing any other wire transfer because it cost me more to wire than sending a check .but the manager couldn't resolved it and treated me to summit the $20 late pay fee to my credit report. From day one I have been asking them information about my account balance and payments and everyone has a different story This company is not a professional services . Keep a way from them I wish I would seen there reviews first.Review fromMichael G

1 starGave blood to ********** plasma center. They put $100 on a Comdata payment solutions card. Pressing the wrong button they fined me 2 dollars. I signed up for direct deposit and my money still did not transfer. Currently each agent tells me there is no way to get my money out of their system with out paying some fee. I'm pretty sure this company is a scam.
