Refund and Exchange Policy
The company states that they offer the following policy:

"Snapfon's warranty to the original purchaser/user:

All Snapfon¨ mobile phones are warranted against defect, malfunction, and product failure for one year from the date of purchase unless otherwise noted. The warranty covers problems or defects that are a result of normal use. This warranty does not apply to damage done to the phone by shipping, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or exposure to any type of moisture or extreme temperatures. The phone should be disconnected from its charger during thunderstorms, or events that can cause power surges. It is not warranted against damage from voltage fluctuations. Batteries are not covered under this warranty, due to their expendable nature. The battery is guaranteed to be functioning at time of purchase and is covered by the same 90 day warranty as our other accessories. The phone warranty is void if batteries other than Snapfon authorized or recommended batteries or chargers have been used. If a problem develops due to a third party battery or charging adapter, please contact the manufacturer of that accessory for redress or compensation. If any other problem develops during the warranty period, please see the return instructions below before returning your phone. If we choose to refund your purchase it may be prorated based on use and condition of the returned merchandise. The shipping charges for returning a working phone to you are covered by the warranty.
Snapfon¨ accessories

All Snapfon accessories are warranted to be free from malfunction or defects for 90 days.
Products in need of repair or replacement due to defect:

Every mobile phone you buy from Snapfon has a one-year warranty for defects in manufacturing or workmanship. Our return policy provides for repair, replacement, or credit of merchandise that has been confirmed as defective after inspection and testing process. Each valid warranty claim will be evaluated and dealt with separately and resolved in one of above ways at our discretion. Terms and conditions may vary based on product and defect.

Replacement approval and RMA's (Returned Merchandise Authorization) can be requested via email, or telephone.
All other returns:

Snapfon products that were purchased from any source other than the Snapfon website or call in orders, can ONLY be returned to the vendor through which the product was purchased (i.e. a phone purchased online through a reseller, must be returned to/through that reseller).

Any product returned for reasons other than a manufacturing defect are subject to the following restrictions:
All customers must first contact us directly at (423) 535-9968 to request a Return Authorization.
The product must be returned within 30 days of purchase, in exactly the condition it was received, "AS NEW," with 100% of all shipping, packing, parts, accessories, manuals, etc. in order to be considered for a refund.
There will be a minimum restocking fee of 25% applied to all returns that are not received in "AS NEW" condition.
Buyer is to pay the return shipping.
Please note that PureTalk service plans cannot be returned or refunded in any way. Service plans are paid a month in advance. You may cancel your service at any time without penalty, however there are no refunds for the month already paid."
