    I hired a contractor to install flooring in my patio. He has done the job ver well so I have given him another job. The job was to close the ceiling for my two storied family room by building a room upstairs and also build a deck outside. He gave me two quotes, one for deck and one for room up stairs. I have paid him two checks, one for $5250 and another $5000 as advance for the work. He mentioned that he will finish the job by May 21st. I handed him first check on 04/20/2023 and second check on 05/03. Since the day he took checks he never came back and started the work. On May 21st I asked him to return my money, he started saying stories and never returned my money back. I have been constantly trying to reach out to him asking to return my money and he always says he will return but never did. Finally he blocked my phone number and stopped responding to my texts. I have his invoices and texts agreeing that he didn’t deliver the job on time and will return the money. Please help me in getting my money back.
