This is a truly evil company. They should not exist. They will do everything in their power to not cover essential medication or stop covering essential medication suddenly. Stay away at all costs.

They need no stars ,but no options for that i have had blue cross blue shield, for several years, an my doctors where in network, this year 2024, all the doctors are out of network, that i went too, an i did not find out until, i went to them in January and they said , they are no longer in network in bcbs plain. so i had to pay the full amount, that is with having no insurance to make it cheaper payment, having insurance usually make the cost cheaper. so i feel like bluecrossbluesheild stab me in the back, an where sneaky, so they could get the government money for monthly statements. an not pay out to their customers. i would not recommend them at all to any one i hope no one else had been fooled by this insurance Freda H

Submitted a case regarding fraudulent billing. Called multiple times for updates on case, was notified that case would have outcome in 30 days. Call back after +30 days and was told "no notes found" on the case. Had to provide a statement again, customer service unable to escalate and customer service unable to provide needed assistance to members. Be aware BlueCross of Tennessee does not value members and does not take claims seriously. You need a lawyer to speak on your behalf; otherwise, insurance companies like Blue Cross and fraudulent medical offices do not take member concerns seriously.

BCBS is the worst. Our daughter is in speech therapy which we would pay out of pocket until we reach our deductible up to 60 visits per year. We have a referral from her primary for the therapy. It's not ideal to have to pay so much each session until reaching the deductible, but we would manage it. Well, turns out BCBS will cover none of it, even with a referral. Just another example of how health insurance is a scam. Why pay hundreds of dollars every month for "health insurance" when they won't insure anything? Just out here to grab money, I guess. Congrats to your business model.
