            On August 19th, 2021 I had my 2012 Subaru Outback repaired at Crown Subaru for $3290. The significant repair for this claim is the timing belt and the full body inspection. On September 2, 2021 I drove 5 miles and feared for my life as my dashboard began to blink and my engine began to smoke. I pulled over on the side of the highway where I popped the hood to find the upper radiator hose detached completely. I had my vehicle towed back to Crown where they are claiming they did not have to touch this tube to access the timing belt. I have talked with multiple mechanics who claim you must remove this tube to access the timing belt. Crown is quoting $7600 for a new engine and offering no assistance for their negligence. They did a full car inspection including checking the radiator hoses on my first visit and they said everything looked good and I could drive this car for another 100,000 miles. I believe they should pay for the damages caused and be held accountable for their actions.

            Worst service department ever. If your vehicle needs service I would highly recommend driving to the Subaru dealerships in Gallatin or Knoxville. The service managers don't even care enough about customers to return a call about potential safety issues ( Laura M.). I wouldn't let Crown check the tire pressure on my vehicle. Don't want anyone having the same horrible experience with them that I have. Would recommend to avoid their service department at all cost.
