While staying at a hotel in downtown Chattanooga we valeted our overnight. The hotel outsources their valet to Bird Dog valet. When we got our car back there was an ink mark (that was not there when we dropped off our car) on our very light colored leather. I tried calling Bird Dog (no one answered) I emailed and explained the situation and included a picture of the mark. They denied my claim and are denying responsibility. Would NEVER recommend this company, I have been treated so poorly and lied to several times.Business response

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to the BBB. After looking into your claim, it seems you reported the pen mark to Bird Dog after leaving the hotel's property. Please see our Terms & Conditions that you received with your ticket:
"THIS CONTRACT LIMITS OUR LIABILITY
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
You agree that when Bird Dog Parking, LLC ("Bird Dog") retains the keys to your vehicle, Bird Dog is not responsible for any articles left in the vehicle and/or for any damages to the vehicle or loss of use of the vehicle caused by vandalism, fire, theft, or defective breaks/parts. You also agree that you will identify and advise Bird Dog of any claims relating to your vehicle before you leave the premises or else all such claims are waived in full. Bird Dog is not responsible for any bodily injuries or other losses of any nature that you may sustain at the Hotel while your vehicle is parked with Bird Dog. No employee is authorized to alter or amend the terms of this agreement.
PLEASE REMOVE ALL VALUABLES FROM YOUR VEHICLE!"Thank you for your time and we wish you well.

I am rejecting this response because: I reported the pen mark to the assistant manager, ***** ****** at the ****** ****** Inn. He instructed me to contact a bird dog employee by the name of Joseph R*** via his business card. I called immediately and also sent an email to the Bird Dog employee I was told to contact. I have attached a screenshot of my email as well as the outgoing phone call to the bird dogs employee. Once again this is what I was instructed to do in regards to the damage to my car.

Thank you for your time and I appreciate your position on this. As stated in the previous message Bird Dog Parking will not be taking responsibility for your claim. We have done the investigation and we do not feel there is any concrete evidence to take responsibility for the pen mark.

I am rejecting this response because: the response from Bird Dog was not appropriate. I was lied to multiple times by Kevin the Director of Operations. I was told that they only use black INK pens. Which is not true. One of their tags was written on with sharpie (please see attached photo). He also told me these particular tags were printed each day (not written on) which was also untrue. This leads me to believe many of his other claims about their policies are also untrue. Bird dog provided no written evidence of their black inkonly policy or that the baker drivers were not allowed to have a pen in the car another “so called” policy. He never took my claim seriously, I was treated with disrespect from the moment I begin dealing with this. This is exactly why I reported this to BBB. They claim they are the valet company that is a step above bc of their customer service. Their customer service leaves much to be desired. They do not listen to their customers nor do they treat them with respect.

I am rejecting this response because: this is the same message that was sent me to me by the company on 6/10. Please see my response below which I already submitted. I parked in a parking lot at *** ****** ** ********** ** ***** on a Friday evening at 7:40PM for just an hour and half to go eat a later dinner with a friend. When I came back I had received a parking ticket from Bird Dog Parking. I looked around and saw a sign on the parking lot that read "Free parking after 5pm and on weekends." I disregarded the ticket as a mistake. two weeks later I received a letter in the mail saying I had an unpaid parking ticket. I went online to their site to dispute this. I submitted a picture of the sign, and a brief explanation on how I believe I received this in error and that the sign allowed me to park there. The dispute was denied. There is no phone number to talk to anyone about the dispute. They have clearly given me the ticket in error.Business response

Greetings,
The parking lot you are referring to is for bank customers during the day until 5pm. At the Entrance there are 2 orange signs posted that say this is a paid parking lot after 5pm and on the weekends. There are also 5 large QR code mobile payment signs posted clearly throughout the lot. Since you were parked in the lot after 5pm and did not pay, you were given a parking citation for not following the instructions to pay. I hope this helps clarify things and thank you for your time.
