if you are thing of Bidding on one of the Repoed cars or trucks at Fortera don’t! Something is not right with their Agent! After bidding on CUAauction’s for over a week on a truck with a closing deadline of 8PM on the 8 th of April with me having the High Bid at 8PM ,15 minutes was added to the Deadline. Well at the end of the Added 15 minutes the high bid of $17200 bid which was my last Bid and was accepted and announced as High Bid! But lo and behold I didn’t didn’t win! I went in and closed my account which cost me a $15.00

Thank you for your feedback. We regret that you experienced frustration with the bidding process. The auction provider with which Fortera partners has established policies that include extension of the bidding period in accordance with stated guidelines. These policies are displayed on the website and presented to each bidder upon registration and bidding to ensure fair bidding opportunities.

Online auto loan payments are nearly impossible to do. But they’re always sure to collect the convenience fee for inconveniencing you, due to their poor customer service.

Fortera has the biggest overdraft fee scam going on in the Banking system. You could have money in the bank make your purchase and they still will be charged you a nsf of $31 if you use most of your money in your account. I checked my account I had 212 in there I made a purchase for 208 woke up the next morning with $330 worth of insufficient funds fees.Which created a domino effect of $31 on every other charge before the last charge that they claim was insufficient instead of charging you for that one negative transaction which wasn’t insufficient. Not to mention that I can’t overdraft my account anyway so how can I be charged overdraft fees when I can’t overdraft the account? If the monies not in my bank to make a purchase it will declined my car every time. I see all these reviews that I’ve been looking at I’m not the only one this is happening to.

Difficult time getting in touch with someone. Having to give a call back number to hear from someone. Waiting time for this is usually 30 minutes.

Been with them for close to 10 years, now change polices without notification, mobile banking is no longer convient and none of the employees are on the same page. Been told 3 different things and apparently none to be true according to the rude lady Felise at the home office in Clarksville. This place is ridiculous! And I cannot wait to find better banking than this joke of a business!

DO NOT USE THIS BANK. I bought a truck through them and was never told about needing certain insurance. After selling that truck and again using Fortera on my new truck I transferred my insurance over. 6 months later I find out they secretly added on $7,100 to my loan. No phone call or emails explaining why. Turns out I needed comprehensive and collision insurance which I didn't even know I didn't have. I turned in my insurance on multiple occasions and never was told it was wrong. I have lost roughly $10,000 because of this bank and my family and I are STRUGGLING because of them. Oh and don't try to contact a manager they "don't take calls". It's okay Fortera as long as my family and I are foodless while your employees and managers are living great with other hard working peoples money.
