I just want to share my experience. Previous tenant up and left randomly had to clean entire home Moved in June 2019 with fiancé. Nine days later my son was born. We were broke but had our wedding in the rental back yard august 2019. October 2019 we got custody of our two year old niece. Trying to afford bills. April 2020 I’m giving my now ten month old son and two year old niece a bath. They are playing, thought I heard my spouse. Stepped away to check, it wasn’t went back to check on kids. My daughter was playing in the tub. Closer I got to the tub realized son fell back in the water. Did cpr and called 911. Unfortunately son died May2020 in **********. Rent went up 50$. June 2020 I tried to commit suicide tried to call Melinda to explain what was going on and she showed me no empathy. Just reminded me I signed a contract and I shouldn’t have if I could not afford it. Never received a card. Struggled with my mental health ended up being diagnosed with PTSD, major depressive disorder, anxiety and depression. We struggled with our marriage, child death was to much. July 2021 Ex wife called vision reality without my knowledge and had vision send me a lease without my exes name on it. Vision reality said sign it or move out. The rent went up 50 more dollars. Tried to call Melinda to explain losing my son and my divorce. Melinda told me I needed to pay my rent on time. What did I want her to do? She informed me the owners wanted their money and so did she. When I told her I’m trying she made me feel like I was failing as a human being. June 2022 my rent went up 200$ extra. 1225$ some days I don’t eat. Some months No water , some months no lights. I asked for more time to scrape up the money, Melinda serves me paperwork from petitioning the courts. I believe it’s the fact that I’m black that vision did not treat me like a person. The primary question is do they believe in the Lord. If they do where is their empathyVision reality is the company that took me to my grave.
