I purchase a replacement heater for a dryer attempting to help my 91-year-old grandmother **** ****. She is the mother of eight, 18+ grandchildren, 20+ great grandchildren and we are attempting to make things easier for her. She was hanging clothing on the fence, counter tops, chairs and in some cases not doing the laundry as the dryer stopped working. I offered to help fix the issue and followed the recommended trouble shooting guide supplied by the manufacturer. They recommended replacement of the heater, and I did notice the existing heat element looked to be damaged. I followed all direction, and we could not get power to the heating element at any point. Made connection to test continuity of the components using a voltmeter and this made marks on the contact points. As we could not get power to the heating element we selected not to repair. The heater was never fully installed, never function and never saw power. Appliance Parts Pros will not accept this part back and from the long trail of complaints this is not the first time for this problem. I am next asking ** ** ***** to look into this matter. I will also spread the word to the many people I know within the appliance world..not to do business with this company. Background for me includes ********* 5yrs, ********** 2ysr, ***** 5yrs and 500+ people on ********...spreading the word.
