I purchased a f250 from this dealer in December 2024, it is now halfway through April 2025 and I have not received the title or registration for the truck, and cant get an answer from anyone on where the title or registration is. It was a cash deal, we did a straight trade for my *** 2500 that I traded in. Nothing owed. I had the title in hand when I brought the Ram to them. If I had not given them the title to my truck 4 months after the sale, they would have lawyers kicking my door in. So why is it ok for them to have no clue where the title is for the truck they sold to me? Every time I call the dealer, they say let me call the title office and find out and then I never get a call back with answers. Every time I call the title office myself, they say the title is at a bank thats not local to us, thats if they answer the phone at all. That excuse might have worked when we were 1 month in, but in 4 months you could have walked to the bank that has the title and walked back. I have called the title office roughly 25 times in the last 4 months, and only twice has anyone actually answered the phone. I have purchased numerous vehicles out of state in the past and have never had this issue. Judging by the other complaints posted on here, this seems to be a common problem with this dealer. I have unfortunately expended all the patience I had, and now I want answers.

I have been waiting months to get the tags for a truck from them. Every time I call I get the run around and no help from them.

Due to some changing personell and management changes this was a situation that got overlooked drastically. We regret this, Mr ********* tags have been purchased and he has be notified that the tags are at the dealership.

This was not an issue that was overlooked. They were contacted by me multiple times and was told just to come get another drive out tag. They have multiple complaints on their ****** reviews about the same problem for the past two years. I believe this car dealership has some shady practices and I will not ever purchase another vehicle from them again. Never have I purchased a vehicle that it takes months to get car tags.

August 20, 2022 is when we got the truck. We have been waiting since August 20th to get our tags switched over to the new truck.. In ******** we do it ourselves, so it already threw us for a loop on having a dealership do it. Every week we call, it is the same story. Oh it'll be Fed-ex Tomorrow or oh it isn't ready. We know they have all the stuff because we have been in contact with the lender. Now we are trying to get a different vehicle and can't even do anything due to them still not wanting to have this done already. I will never ever in my life recommend mend this dealership to anyone. My husband tried contacting them today and the owner said give him 10 minutes to figure out what is going on...(same story every week) literally 15 minutes passed by and he tried calling the owner again and the owner then hung up and said 5 more minutes. He ended up giving us the same answer they have the last 8 weeks. this is insane. If you look up the dealership on ******** as well it has horrible reviews as well so I don't know how they are still in business doing this to people.

Couple of things to educate the customer, Auto Dealerships have lenders that they finance customers through, these lenders require by law that the selling dealership perfect the lenders lien on the title, this requires us to collect for and also get the registration done. Just some info for the customer to understand why we handled the registration of the vehicle. Referenced registration was received by customer on 10/18/2022, the job is done.

I am rejecting this response because: yes the deal is done as of 10/18/2022 but how long did it take you???? 2 months. 2 months to get this done I have never in my life seen it take this long. We called several other dealerships as well as the lender and everyone was in agreement with us that it doesnt normally take this long.  So you think it is super professional for us to call/text weekly about getting this done? And yall say ohh call us back in ****************************************************************** waiting on fed ex.. also super professional for the main boss to forward our calls when trying to figure out what was going on. we know you had the title or it least we know it was mailed to you on august 5, per the lender we used. I mean clearly If you would look on your reviews we arent the only one that had to deal with this. We will never use this dealership again.

    Sincerely,

Customer has their paperwork. Sometimes a promise to "never use this dealership again" is a plus for the business. I could respond to all of this, however this is not ********* for that, customer has their paperwork, we actually delivered the paperwork by hand to *************, not real certain what this person wants from us other than the universe to punish us, the issue is over and resolved.

I purchased a truck from this dealership on 5/21/2022 for $27,500 cash. After ************************************************ a title. Each time I call they tell me something different, "it's at the bank", "the title **** has it", "I'll have to look into it and get back with you". On 7/25/2022 I spoke with ***** who told me he wasn't sending me another drive out tag and didn't have time to look for the title. He said if I wanted the title I would have to track it down myself.

Collierville Auto Center Sold and delivered to ************* a vehicle, he has received his title paperwork, we accepted a personal check for the vehicle, on first run the check was returned, upon rerunning the check it cleared our bank, this did hold up beginning ************* paperwork. Although ************* is not a resident of Shelby County and we were not required to purchase his tags as this was a "cash" deal the current and recent past situation at the Shelby ******************** has thrown multiple layers of confusion into the office that handles our tag and title work, we share an office with our sister dealership and sell 175+ vehicles a month, while 60 days is to long to wait on a title and we agree, this situation has put a tremendous strain on everyone responsible for handling tags and title paperwork. We are very sorry that ************* paperwork took over 60 days to receive.

It's been 2 months and I haven't received my registration yet. I keep getting the run around and still no answer. I have added a picture of the first drive out tag with the date on it.

*************** purchased his vehicle on 4-2-2022. On 4-18-22 ******************** title application and title paperwork was delivered to the Shelby ******************** in a packet with 10 other title apps (per the request of the Shelby ******************** dealers are requested to drop off tag request in packets of 10 at a time) the troubles with tag issues in Shelby County (the county our dealership is located in) have been well documented on various news channels as of late. This is a situation which was beyond our control. We requested in late may that the Shelby ******************** pull the folder with ******************** paperwork in it and retrieve ******************* paperwork so that we could expedite this particular tag. **************** had requested to transfer his tag from his trade in however the Shelby ******************** informed ** that the Trade Registration was in both *********************** and his wifes name and the new vehicle was only in Mr ******* name therefore the transfer could not be done we would have to purchase a new tag. We got this done, I personally delivered ******************* tag and registration to his wife in ********** ** on June 6, 2022. This is an unfortunate situation however not all unfortunate situations are the fault of the business, sometimes outside issues can slow processes down and we believe the issues with the Shelby ******************** have been well documented as of lately. Again we are very sorry about this delay, however we believe we did everything in our power to get MR ******* vehicle registration in a timely manner.
