  On 5-16-24 we entered a contract to have our two large flower beds planted out and landscaped by T&D Landscaping for a total cost of $4825 including materials and labor. This complaint is being filed on 11-8-24 because the job has never been completed. The work that was done on 5-21-24 was left unfinished. Messages to follow up on the incomplete work were sent on 6-25-24, 7-28-2024, 7-31-24, 8-12-24, 10-1-24 and finally ****** to which no reply was sent and this complaint is being filed.Very poor communication when the job was left unfinished. First, not enough rock was ordered for my landscaping and now we will have to add several bags on our own to keep it from looking sparse in one area because he wanted us to pay for a whole new ton of rock. They also were supposed to trim out our entire bed with metal liner, and left a whole corner undone. They did not follow up with the "90 Day Warranty" on plants that were planted. All 4 evergreens they planted have died off along with several plants, with no communication from the owner other than "You're on the schedule and I'll get to you." 5 months of messaging back and forth and nothing has been finished. Extremely unprofessional for the price we paid for the job. ***** using this business at all costs and find a company that stands by their word, communicates with you, and makes sure the job is done right the first time. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

  On May 7, 2022 T & D Landscapes provided a written quote to re-build a retaining wall at the rear of our backyard where there is a drainage, and to install drains to redirect water from the roof. They were also to install french drains in front of the home. They gave us a written contract for the services. Within one week, they began asking for more money. We reminded *************************, the owner, that we had an agreement. He and his crew stopped showing up, or began showing up for for one or two hours. We went from a crew of six, to one or two men. Part of the project was to replace soil in the yard adjacent the retaining wall. They did not use garden soil, but instead used some kind of landfill **** material ********* I watered the **** four hours ago and the water from the hose is still sitting on top of the **** fill material. When it rains, this will cause my backyard to become a lake, and to be unusable. We will not be able to landscape the area next to the retaining wall because plants will not grow in this, and we will not be able to allow our dogs out in the yard because they will sink to their bellies in sticky ****. **************** was well aware that this part of the yard was to be landscaped and to be fenced to contained the dogs. He took down and destroyed the existing dog fence and left it strewn in our hydrangeas. He has not even fully backfilled the area adjacent to the retaining wall because he has again asked for more money. T & D Landscapes was hired to improve the drainage of my home, not make it worse. But **************** and his T & D Landscapes is refusing to correct this problem, has left the work half finished. He has also left construction debris in the driveway and on the lawn which he promised to remove. We want the job complete as promised. If I sound angry, I am.
