    We are seeking full refund in the amount of $12,600.00 for services not rendered. We met with Tennessee Valley Homes on June 11th 2021 to discuss plans to build a home in Franklin TN on a lot we purchased in May 2021. After meeting with ***** ******, we decided to move forward with Tennessee Valley Homes building our home. Drafting agreement and payment was sent September 1st 2021. We have a moving date set from Texas to Tennessee. We started this process early to insure that everything would be completed in time. We were told that our timeline was good with the projected build time. We were told the drafting would take a couple of weeks and that the build time was a 13 month build. We provided a survey and TOPO as requested so that they could design a plan for the lot. I created a plan previously as an idea to what we wanted and to help make it easier for them. Even though this was all supposed to be a 2 week turnaround, It wasn't until January "4 months later" that they told us the plan that they had been working on was too wide for the lot due to it having to be 50' off the property line. So I had to create a different plan for them. I never would receive information or updates from them until much time had passed and I would Call or email requesting an update. Here we are 12 months after the contract was signed just to get house plans drafted with no completed plans and no responses from Tennessee Valley Homes since May 6th 2022. We have made several attempts to contact via email and calls/voicemails with no response, including our last email on July 14th requesting full refund. I have attached all email correspondences. This set back has cost us financially and has made it impossible to build a home before our set move date.

    Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/09/29) */ in response to the complaint according to the drafting agreement dated 28th of July, 2021 we were to draft plans for a covered square footage to be approximately 6,300 sq. Ft home for a fee of 12,600.00. These plans were delivered by emailed on May 5, and acknowledged by the complaintant on the same day which at the time he stated they look great. He can use these plans with any builder of his choosing. Any other work the complainant is referring to we did not charge him for. According to the drafting agreement any other revisions would be billed at 30.00 per hour. Therefore there is no money to refund Therefore I do not understand what refund he is referring to.
