      Their customer service is appalling. My paperwork got lost in the system and stuck for three months when initially getting a mobility scooter. The scooter they delivered was faulty. It's been six months since then of constantly following up with them to get it fixed. They don't return phone calls or emails, and they pass the blame instead of trying to resolve issues. If you have a choice, do not get any mobility device from this company.

      Poor service, including over billing. Now I have problems with their local office returning calls and giving equipment updates.

      Are the good reviews real? Are you serious? This is the worse company I believe I have ever seen! I been waiting 6 months for this company to fix my husband’s wheelchair and every time a tech comes to fix it they bring the same parts. The same parts that they already established the chair doesn’t need 3 service visits ago. I never seen a company do anything like this. It’s bad enough the waiting period for a tech to fix the chair is unbelievable, but then they bring the same parts from the last visit. Honestly, I don’t think they know what’s wrong with my husbands chair, and I don’t think they are interested in finding out.

      Do not buy a mobility device from these people. I got a medical mobility scooter a little over a year ago, I have had to have the battery replaced, However Before & After having the battery replaced it will not hold a charge for more than 20 minutes it will not even go .4 miles from my house, I'm completely disabled and I could literally walk further than this will take me. I am utterly disgusted and disappointed with my experience with national seating animability. What's supposed to give you more mobility and ease of movementHas instead only given me more limitations and restrictions than my own disability does.

      I would actually give a 0 star rating if allowed to do so. NSM does not maintain contact with clients. Parts are not ordered or not ordered timely. There is a total lack of compassion towards individuals who spend a majority of their days within their wheelchairs. There is no sense of urgency on their part to get things ordered and delivered in a timely manner. This has resulted in injuries from improperly fitted equipment. The most disturbing thing about this company is that I asked for a number to call to file a complaint due to delay of care on their part and was ignored repeatedly. I finally found this site to vent but am sad to see that so many others have had the same experience.

      Filed a repair request on June 27 for a bracket and a back cover for my son’s wheelchair. The bracket holds the back in an upright position. Thankfully we had an old chair to use the bracket off of to replace until the new one arrived. It is September 12. The technician called and is only bringing the bracket. Michael at the Chattanooga office spoke with Alvin( the tech who put the order in initially) and said it was a verbal order and the back cover was left off the order. My son has limited sensation on his back and must do everything to prevent skin breakdown. A ripped wheelchair back cover could cause severe life altering implications for him. I spoke with them, and was told ‘ we neglected to place the order and will order it now.’ It should not have been dropped to start with. But now we have probably 90 more days before- 6 months from initial request, before needed parts are delivered. People on this business should know, folks depend on their wheelchairs to just live. It’s not a luxury it’s an absolute necessity. Their customer service and attention to detail is the worst I’ve dealt with on the last 26 years.

      Ordered a new ****** wheelchair and Jay wheelchair cushion back in June via a seating evaluation. It is now near the end of August and I cannot get any kind of status as to what stage the order is in. I keep being told that once the seating evaluation is done, the funding company takes over the order. Funding company is suppose to provide client with updates of ordered via text. I have yet to receive the first text. It's almost like my order just vanished. Seating evaluation specialists have to communicate w/funding company via ********* Teams. Seating eval specialist cannot even get funding company to communicate with them. They've made attempts w/no response back. This seems to be a very unprofessional, unethical way to do business. This, obviously explains why NSM rec'd a rating of 1.9 w/a high percentage of dissatisfied clients. Sure wish NSM would go through the experience of obtaining durable medical equipment that they had to rely on to function on a daily basis. The way they fail to communicate at all w/the client and give updates on orders is very unfair to the client. The way they conduct business needs to be rethought. How do they expect to keep clients and get future referrals doing business this way??? No communication on an order??? No updates??? Highly dissatisfied client! If NSM monitors these reviews....please have appropriate person communicate w/me to resolve these issues. Let's get the ball rolling and MOVE FORWARD, please. I would be happy to post an update once issues are resolved.

      I got a new scooter after placing a order in November of 2023. I think delivery was in February or start of March. went without one as they don't have loaners as they are required to per their ************ scooter worked maybe 2 weeks before the connector failed. they stated parts on back order. checked with Pride. they said they had plenty in stock. They just called me two weeks ago to set up an appointment for this week to finally fix it. They NEVER SHOWED UP! NO CALL NOTHING. NO RETURN PHONE CALL EITHER. I NEED THIS FOR WORK IN UNDER 8 DAYS unacceptable

      This company is awful. I was trying to get a special needs bed for my son. They harassed me for the information that I provided ten times, and they continued to claim they didn't get it. Even though I sent it. His behaviorist at school sent it to where they said. It was sent over ten times to where they said to send it. Then they said because they didn't get it, they were canceling after jerking us around for over a year. Complete incompetence and waste of time.

      My wife’s wheelchair has not taken a charge- the battery needs replaced- I called in April- it is now August- the chair beeps and flashes ALL day- it runs very slow- she is confined to a wheelchair and this is NOT at all acceptable. NSM said that we received a new chair which we did not. The mix up is on YOUR END you need to fix it!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Customer Service!!!
