      I mistakenly called Tru Green on 4-21-25 and set up a free estimate appt for that Friday. Within a day, I realized I had accidentally called the wrong company and called them back to cancel the estimate. They interrogated me as to why I was canceling. I told them I had accidentally called the wrong company. They persisted and wanted to know why. I told them I didnt need to give them any more information. I hung up. Despite my cancellation of the appointment, Tru Green showed up on Fri., anyway! That was 7 days ago. Since I canceled the appointment, Tru Green has.called me no less than 6 times, sent me a voice message and sent me at least 2-3 advertisements in the mail. I have tried blocking them and the calls keep coming through. I am dealing with the very difficult and recent loss of a loved one and their harassment is causing undue and completely unnecessary stress. I want nothing to do with them!! I made this clear, in person, to their employee who showed up on Friday, 4-25-35 at 11:30 for the appointment I had already canceled at least 2x. I want this harassment stopped!! I would greatly appreciate anything you could do to get them to leave me alone!! My address is ************************************. Thank you. ******** ******

      TruGreen left a message for Ms. ****** 5/1/25 to follow up on the BBB complaint. TruGreen apologizes for any inconvenience caused with our contacting her. Our records indicate that Ms. ****** signed up for a lawn program on 4/21/25. Ms. ****** would have been contacted for notification for the first scheduled service and via mail with the confirmation of her program. TruGreen apologizes if she requested to cancel prior to the specialist coming out for the first application and evaluation and we still came out. Ms. ******** account has been cancelled as requested, and we have added her to the do not contact list. TruGreen advised that it can take up to 30 days for all calls to stop and 3 months for all mailers to stop due to pre-generated materials and lists. However, Ms. ****** will not receive any further information regarding scheduled service.

      April 4th my lawn was sprayed with pre emergence fertilizer and weed killer. (This was a scheduled visit but I was away until April 23rd.) The overspray ruined approximately 50 feet of my established (approximately 30 years) blanket of ********** juniper ground cover. When I returned home on April 23 I was astonished to see they were brown. I checked my Blink cameras and could see the man dragging the hose out to the front lawn where the junipers border my lawn and are on top of my seawall. I took photos and immediately contacted Tru Green. They sent representative ******* out on April 25th who took more photos and agreed that TruGreen was responsible for the damage and that indeed it was caused by overspray. She wrote a report and submitted it but I have yet to hear from TruGreen. I want to be compensated for the extensive damage they caused.

      This is a complaint rant about ******* ************* Over the years, we have aerated our lawn every 5 years. We have been appreciative of the care, but now want to decline any additional activity. We received a notice of an upcoming aeration that we called about - informing TruGreen that we no longer needed this garden care. No service was provided and still TruGreen is trying to charge us. We have had 5 different phone conversations with albeit nice individuals who, at the end of our explanation of the situation agree that no charges should apply . . . and yet we continue to receive bills.Proceed with caution regarding this company. Once in their system, they seem reluctant to let you go and harass customers with bill collection threats. This is financial ******** not use TruGreen !

      It is never TruGreen's intention for someone to be scheduled for service they weren't expecting or for someone to be charged for a service they didn't receive. TruGreen has issued a credit for the $101.14 balance, and the customer may disregard any statement or invoice you have. TruGreen's billing department has processed the credit, the account now reflects a zero balance, and the customer will not receive any further collection calls regarding the 2/05/25 invoice. Mr. and Mrs. ****** account is cancelled, and TruGreen has added their information to our do not contact list.

      Re: Complaint ********** I contacted TruGreen on or about 4/17/2025, to report that I received notification that a lawn tech had applied treatment to my yard on 4/10/2025. I knew this wasnt true because I was home that day and I did not receive notification that the service was completed. I also called because this wasnt the first time this had happened and I wanted to make sure I wasnt charged for a service I did not receive.I called TruGreen the same day and spoke with ***************** ********* who was very professional and helpful. She got me scheduled for June 6 and my reschedule appointment was June 26. The ticket number is_28421420. She even told me she added a note that I recently aerated and my service dates needed to be moved for this reason.The next day, 4/18/2025, I saw that TruGreen came and applied treatment AFTER I called and got my dates moved. I didnt receive a call, text, or notice on my door. There was a stick in the yard that showed they came.Needless to say, I was extremely upset. I have called multiple times, and one supervisor (*****) called me on 4/18,2025, and left a message. She told me she would call me back Monday, 4/21/2025, but I have yet to hear from a supervisor. I have spoken to numerous customer services folks, each have told me a supervisor would call me ***** hours after their calls. They all shared the next step would be for a supervisor to come out to assess my yard to determine the next steps. As I shared in my complaint email, I dont have money to waste and all I want is for someone to honor their word and come and assess my yard.

      Good afternoon, ***** from Truegreen call today and expressed to me that the irrigation and seating should not have been completed when it was. He is going to continue my current services and offered to replace my aeration and seating in the fall when it should have been done. He has been calling me, but the number was going to voicemail because my phone recognized it as a spam call which it wasnt. I think the issue is now resolved at this point now that someone has called me with a resolution. Thank you so much.

      I have paid Tru-green for a portion of the years treatment and have reveived none. They are supposed to contact me prior to coming to treat ast yard gets wet in the spring. There was no call and the person tried to treat and got stuck in the mud. They left without completing and entered into my account they it had neen done. I have tried to get this rescheduled on probably 10 different times with no shows. I contact them and they rescheduled. I get messages from them saying they are a few minutes away then they do not show up.

      I have had Tru Green for years with much problems . They actually are a terrible company to work with .They dont do entire lawn if they feel the customer is not home . We have a ring door bell so were able to see they only did small area .This is not the first time they have done this in previous years . This was my first service this year so I cancelled and asked for refund . I prepaid and wanted my card refunded. They said fine to refund but minus my one service . It is a total scam to pay for something they didnt even do .

      The companies representative drove into my driveway, then backed out, and left. I was then billed for the service. No service was completed. They lied about completing the service. I do have them on video.

Mr. ****** spoke with TruGreen customer service today, and the application was credited and account cancelled. We have added Mr. ****** to the do not contact list per his request for no further contact from TruGreen. However, TruGreen has advised that it can take up to 30 days for all calls to stop.

      I used TruGreen for my house in ****** CA, and paid an annual fee in 2023 for their monthly lawn service. During the annual service time period, they stopped their service from May 2024 to July 2024 for no reasons. After I contacted them, the contract showed up and continued their lawn service. I wasnt happy with this kind of service, called them and canceled their service before the end of the annual contract. Per record there were still unused service remaining on my account at my time of cancellation. The strange thing is that after my cancellation and switching to a new lawn contractor company, they keep claiming that I owe them a service fee of $83.92. I paid an annual fee upfront and they have not delivered the service they owed to me. I am not aware of any service being delivered beyond the annual service contract. They should fix on their accounting errors in stead of harassing their previous customers.*****

      Trugreen has serviced the lawn since 4/18/24 completely destroying all my Bahia grass in my back yard. My grass is in shambles, mostly dead and all weeds now. My front lawn is ************ is full of weeds and completely covered in sedge. I have gotten no resolution out of two different area service managers. I want my sod replaced and restored back to what it was before trugreen burned it up.

      TruGreen corporate and local general manager spoke/met with with Ms. ******** The general manager does not feel that the TruGreen service damaged the property, but has agreed to issue a check for $7000 to aid in the resodding of the lawn where the wild grasses have taken over. Ms. ******* is awaiting the release to sign, and TruGreen will stay in contact with Ms. ******* until she has received the check.

TruGreen was unable to contact Ms. ***** via phone, as the number in the complaint is missing a digit. TruGreen reached out to Ms. ***** via email and sent the information to our ***************** to look into the expressed concerns.
