      Just got notification today that this company did a hard inquiry on my credit report. Ive never even heard of the company and Im definitely not looking at any mortgage companies. I would like it removed immediately.

      I just looked at my credit report, in the past week a company called CIC Credit did a hard credit check on me without my authority. This dropped my credit score and I'd like it removed.

      I was working with a loan officer from********************* who became critically ill in the process. I stressed I didn't want my credit run if there was not a chance I could get approved. I finally agreed they could run my credit ; however, after I received all these papers to sign I have received absolutely nothing from ******************* though I reached out to them because I'm on a timeline with my divorce to get refinanced as you can see CIC Credit service ran my credit on May 26th and June 6th. I never received a written approval or denial. I was told I was approved but would have to do a cash buyout and pay off all debt; I explained the debt is being taken care of in the divorce. I reached out to ********** for help since they are the loan providers and they are the ones that ran my credit see my email to them on June 8th I received zero response to that letter. To this date my loan is in limbo and have heard nothing and I was forced to go elsewhere to look for refinancing due; to the delay and never receiving an official approval or denial in writing from ******************* or CIC Credit, I would like the Two CREDIT Inquiry Removed from my credit report FROM CIC CREDIT because by law they should have sent me something stating approved or denied and did not. When I was preapproved by *********** communication was daily along with written approvals denials etc I have received and heard zero from CIC or ********** and want the inquiry removed and have moved on to work with a new borrower because of the time line I am forced to in my divorce. By law when your credit is run you should receive an approval or denial I received ZERO I would like it removed and due to their reviews I chose not to work with them since they were totally unresponsive. I do not blame the loan officer someone should have stepped in due to the situation. Please ask them to remove the credit inquiry that is or will affect my credit; seem they have many complaints regarding this.

CIC Credit resells credit reports for a variety of different permissible purposes to our end users i.e. mortgage lending, home improvements, auto lending, rental applications, employment screening, etc. **** ***** ******** is the end user that had your permission to pull credit. Per the attachment the original credit report was submitted to ********** ********, as the lender, and was denied. CIC provides the credit reports, ********** ******** (in this instance) provides the loans. **** ***** ******** is the company with the permissible purpose, so they are the company that is required to provide the approval or denial. You will need to reach out to them with any further questions or concerns. **** ***** ******** **** ********** Ave *** ************, PA ***** ************ Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I understand what they are saying however they ran my credit not once but twice that I did not approve. I actually sent the lender/agent copy of my credit report. So my law if I am denied they must notify me within 30 days by law to this day I received absolutely Nothing for running credit twice and was told I was approved; so nothing makes sense. Maybe it's ********** ******** or **** ***** Loans but they did not run my credit CIC CREDIT DID and I received NOTHING and Still have not. Working with another mortgage company once again and honestly even ***** ***** when Preapproved or Denied I was notified Immediately by email and US mail; it's required by mail. So If I have to file another complaint again ********** or **** ***** I will. However, I will also notify Credit reporting agencies that I was never notified I was denied and see if they can work it out as well. CIC ran my credit; someone should of sent me a denial could have literally cost me my home Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/08/09) */ CIC Credit is a reseller of consumer data. At no point did CIC pull or run your credit. CIC does not make a decision regarding a consumer's credit worthiness. All credit denials must come directly from the user of the consumer report in this case ****front or ********** ********. Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2022/08/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) So they are the one's that run the credit and put on my report but not responsible. I suppose I will take it up with Trans Union and Equifax and Experian because ***** ***** only ran my credit once both times and I have no clue why anyone would run my credit twice within one week if I was denied. Makes zero sense. However, they are saying they ran for ********** ******** then ********** ******** will say they did it for **** ***** ******* bottom, line all three were tied into the same transaction that ran my credit twice; so maybe I will have been luck with credit reporting agencies that trying to be civil. At least of of the pulls should be removed . As a consumer I have rights by the law and they never notified me I was denied; if I was denied why would they run it again within a week makes no sense; when ******** companys have calculators that would tell them what I was approved for if they ran it ONCE., Also from day one I stated I wanted to refinance my loan only NOT A CASH BUYOUT they didn't want to deal with me because the loan was 125K not 165K which I could of told you would of denied without running my credit and risk my 90 days with courts and possibly lose my home., Thankfully I was smart and on it when things didn't add up I took it in my own hands but ********** Never responded would it even be worth putting in another complaint for ********** and **** ***** and CIC they all seem to have plenty complaints without mine.       I have never heard of this company nor have I ever applied for a mortgage loan. This company did a hard inquiry in my credit and it needs to be removed and by the looks of other complaints this happens all the time. Why hasn't this been looked into?

      Good afternoon Your company through ******** **** LLC did a hard inquiry with Equifax and Experian on May 24th 2022 without my authorization, nor verbal or written I would like for you to kindly remove such hard inquiry asap since my credit decreased without purpose. I'm following this email to after I called your office and went no where bc they said you did as per request from ******** **** LLC however this Co has your same address in the bureau records I closed on a refi with ****** ******** 5/25/22 through ****** ***** Bank. Unforunately, closing was delayed bc the initial team closing for allied resigned and loan officer, etc moved on to a new bank without my knowledge. This unethical and I was told allowable practice of taking the loan elsewhere without client consent almost ruined my chance of closing with ****** ********. I did closed; however, these people took my sensitive information to restart a loan application at another bank without my consent. I called Equifax and Experian, I froze both accounts. Unfortunately this *** people and ******** pros do not answer phone or claim no responsibility for ruining anyone's credit without authorization. I need them to remove the inappropriate unethical practice of doing the hard inquiry in my file in all bureaus without client consent my consent!!. Thank you

      CIC Credit made a hard inquiry on 01/14/2022 to my credit report without my permission and I would like it to be removed! I didn't apply for any loans or any new accounts and didn't give permission to anyone else, including CIC Credit unlawfully to check my credit report! Who gives this company the right to do this? This is wrong and ruined my good credit and has to be fixed!
