5 starsMy wife and I purchased a Modular Home from Suncrest Homes in Gray Tn in 2021. We were downsizing our custom built home and wanted to purchase a home that we knew was quality built and would provide us with worry free maintenance issues. We wanted certain things built into our home that we enjoyed in our present home that were functional for our needs. Ruth ****** was a pleasure to work with and she met with us on several occasions to help us in our search for the home that would meet our needs. She provided us with practical information that would help us to find the right home while also helping us to save money. Ruth was instrumental in making sure that everything was carried out as planned and she went beyond her area of responsibility to make sure that we were pleased with the product that was delivered. Ruth is very knowledgeable in Modular home construction and very thorough throughout the planning stages to make sure that everything that is needed or wanted in your home is captured and on the plans that are sent to the factory to build . Ruth actually spends hours combing through the plans to make sure that nothing is left off prior to her sign off before she sends the final plan to the factory to start construction. Our Modular home was delivered to our land and set on our basement foundation without a hitch and we recieved a home that was built without short cuts and under ideal conditions and specs far superior to a stick built home. In addition the price per square foot was much less than what you would pay a stick builder and you get a far superior product. I would highly recommend Ruth Martin with Suncrest Homes as your Modular Home builder as I can personally guarantee that you will truly be pleased with her service and expertise in delivering you a top quality home .Review fromRhonda H

5 starsI had a home ordered thru sun crest homes and installed in 2021-2022 and they were a pleasure to work with and helped us all a long the process and still check in with us and are there when we ask them for advice and information or recommendations. They helped us design and order the house that fit our budget. They were open and honest about what was and was not included and recommended several contractors to help finish our home. They gave us help and advice if we chose to do the work ourselves. They were very knowledgeable and made sure any contractors hired did their job and did it right. I have personally recommended them to several prospective customers and shown my home to many clients interested and explained my experience. They do quality work and can’t say enough good words about them. Ruth would even call me with ideas and remembered every request and aspect of my house-making things work that I asked for.Review fromRichard B

5 starsFirst met Ruth & John in September, 2020. From that time util the receipt of our factory home in April, 2021 we spent countless hours planning a designing our wonderful home. The Martin's(Ruth & John) exhibited great patience, building and design knowledge in ALL aspects of our relocation, design and acquiring our new home. Ruth even helped in my decisions on driveway and home placement. I haven't any negative words regarding Suncrest nor the Martin's s. I have been building and rehabing homes for over 50 years and I know quality and building knowledge when I see it. This company and the owners are the best . I could not have stuck built a home anywhere near the quality of the one I received from Suncrest. I AM A HAPPY CUSTOMER.Review fromJeremy S

1 starRuth ****** is the owner of Suncrest Homes, and she lied to our family. She made it sound like we would be in the house in two weeks; however, when the house was delivered, there was vinyl siding ripped off the house, a broken window, seven broken doors, smashed electrical outlets, damaged walls in every room, the ceiling in three rooms was destroyed, the bathtub was cracked, we had leaking plumbing, and we were missing pieces we needed to make the house whole. They left behind several truckloads of debris, and her excavator refused to show up and complete the job. Therefore, we had a large 6-foot wide trench around the house, and we couldn't even get into it. Her contractors don't show up as planned and if they do show up, it could be months later. Then, her contractors will quote one price but add to the price once it is completed. Ruth asked for pictures, but she didn't show up to do a walk-through for nearly two months; by this time, we had to fix some of the things on our own. I learned from the manufacturer that Ruth gets 10% of the home's total price for repairs. When I pointed this out, she still refused to fix the damage. I believe that what she does is bill the company for the work that the homeowner has to do to correct the deficiencies, and if that is so, then she is a liar and a thief.Review fromHaq N

1 starThe house arrived and i just walked to my car and cried. I knew there was no way we could move into the house because of the work and damage. Ruth lied. She minimized everything to male it appear that the house would not take much work. There was damage that Ruth refused to fix. She gets 3% of the sales price to fix the cracks and things, but she wont fix anything. She will ask for photos, but nothing is done. I believe she submits those photos after people move in and she receives the money for the work she will not do. We haf broken windows, four shattered interior doors, and none of our exterior doors worked. She did not provide direction while we had to conduct the interior repairs. She showed up nearly 8 weeks after the house arrived, and thar was when we learned that we laid the flooring wrong because she did not tell us about the door strip. Then her workers dont arrive, try to over bill me and stall the whole project. Good luck with Ruth, I believe she is an **** **** ******** *****Review fromJames N

1 starI think I would rather rem*** *********** with a rusty spoon than ever deal with Ruth and Suncrest Homes again. I caught her in lies, she refused to fix the vinyl siding, the cracked tub, damaged windows, cracked drywall, and seven doors damaged in transport. She blamed Nationwide Homes and said she doesn't work for Nationwide Homes, she works for Palm Harbor. Palm Harbor denied it. Nationwide was fantastic, when they heard about my problems, they sent a work crew out. Unfortunately, Ruth gets 1.5% of the entire house JUST for repairs. She has you send her pics, but she won't make repairs. I wonder what she does with her 1.5% Ruth didn't conduct a walk-through for nearly two months. By this time we already re-hung the doors and messed up the stairs going to the attic because of lack of direction. My recommendation is that if you want a fantastic home, call Nationwide Homes and ask for a sales rep other than Suncrest Homes. She openly criticized other home buyers such as one in Greenville because he used the wrong size rafters, but wanted me to contact him and not mention this. She called one buyer a stupid Yankee who refused to listen to her. At one point, Ruth told me that my house might be pushed up to mid-December and claimed I might be in the house by Christmas. When I told the factory, they laughed. There is no way. Further, she told me that I could save 3k if I do the plumbing and all I had to do was connect the top floor to the bottom. No, you have to connect all the sinks, toilets, showers, and washers. This was 2k in parts and another 3.5 k to bring the water in and do all the connections. Whenever I complained, Ruth would say, you should feel happy, usually the houses have a lot more damage. Or, blame the factory for being out of town and six months behind. It was always an excuse with no help whatsoever. Use Nationwide Homes, don't use Ruth and Suncrest Homes. Her workers tried to overcharge me and many just failed to show up.
