    On 8/21/21 and 8/23/21 I was in the hospital for *****. I have been billed incorrectly * months in a row, each time I've had to make calls to their billing dept and then **** to intercede. **** has sent over the *** at least twice to advise them the billing/revenue codes are wrong and one charge for a ***** test was a duplicate and needed to be removed. **** also stated the bill ******* sent us was for $******* which is the "write off amount". ******* stated they dont know where that number came from. *** was sent over and they were supposed to fix the bill but here we are. ***** was hard enough and now this. As of now, there is a bill for for 8/21/21 ******* states we owe $**, which is incorrect as **** stated it was written off by them. As of 8/23/21 the $**** is outstanding and on 2 occasions the bill was placed "on hold" but now we are being ********** with collections. Multiple attempts by **** to have ******* recode has been met with negative results. "We can't force them to code correctly" is what I've been told. Well, maybe the *** can help me. **** is willing to write off the $**** when coded correctly but we are in a wait and see and thus far after * phone calls from me and **** * months in a row we are still fighting with them. **** advised me I will have to file a grievance next if ******* does not do the right thing.

    My wife was seen at Hendersonville Hospital after being transferred from ******** Emergency Room. They did not have an ultrasound technician on staff that night. She received excellent care at ******** ER. We dread any time we need to use Hendersonville ER. Below is a log of what occured throughout our stay.

    The reason of her visit was direction from a pain management doctor and nurse instructing her to go to the ER if her pain increases.

    2158: Arrival at Hendersonville hospital
    2200: Seated in waiting room
    2207: Brought to ER bed 5
    2210: Nurse attaches monitors
    2309: Call button pressed for sharp, shooting pain in abdomen
    2317: Lady answered call button "I'll let a nurse know" and hung up.
    2323: Ultrasound tech (C*****) arrives, disconnects monitors, and begins Ultrasound imaging
    2340: Ultrasound tech leaves the room
    0005: Went to bathroom
    0007: Returned from bathroom
    0102: Nurse call button pressed and answered
    0105: Nurse E****** arrives and informs patient she is waiting on the doctor to come in and discharge her.
    0130: Pressed nurse call button and requested charge nurse.
    0130: Charge Nurse S******** was given complaints about lack of care and rudeness of staff. She said she will attempt to bring Dr. G***** into the room.
    0139: Dr. G***** comes into the room and explains Ultrasound and CT results
    0140: Charge Nurse S******** hands patient discharge paperwork and goes to verify patient concern about test result
    0142: Charge Nurse S******** verifies test result for patient
    0145: Discharge paperwork signed
    0157: Departed Hendersonville hospital

    Throughout the stay, we were directly outside of the nurse's station. We could hear with excruciating detail the conversations of the nurses about their day, videos uploaded to social media, talking about other patients, and showing funny videos to each other about cats.

    Not once did a single staff member ask if they can do anything for my wife, if she was in pain, did she feel nauseous, was she comfortable, or any interaction what-so-ever. The calls through the nurse button fell on deaf ears until a charge nurse was requested.

    From start to finish of our stay at Hendersonville ER no "Care" was given. My wife was laid onto a cold, isolated, uncomfortable bed for almost 4 hours. The only "care" performed, if it could be called such a thing, was an ultrasound.

    This is not our first negative experience at Hendersonville ER. We dread any time we need to go and actively avoid doing so, even against doctor recommendation. If all that was going to happen was laying on a bed for 4 hours, she would have rather done so in the comfort of our home.
