  Well my son paid a trailer off he has been paying on for 3 years. He paid it off was told he had 1800$ to pay then they agreed almost 800$ to it. He paid it waited for the title for months. He called to ask why is it taking so long to get title and we got it and they had ripped into pieces.

  Since this hometown capital took over my R2O account for my lofted cabin,I’ve been very satisfied with them. Pay your monthly note on time as is stated in the agreed upon contract and there will be nothing to complain about. Just my opinion. I have 20 more payments left out of 42 and no complaints. Thanks for the gr8 customer service Hometown Capital!!!

  Hometowne capital created and opened an account under my name that was created fraudulently. My ID was stolen. I filed police reports and FTC fraud affidavits. I was threatened by a repossession agent for a trailer I did not ever possess. Then they file a lawsuit. Please do not do business with this company.

  Hometowne Capital tried to repossess a trailer my wife and I had purchased because they said the GPS had been removed. EVEN THOUGH IT PINGED ITS EXACT LOCATION that morning and the week before. Now I have to lose an entire day and take it to the dealership and have them verify that the GPS has not been tampered with. Thankfully I was home when it happened.

  I purchased a trailer from ******* **** **** in GA *********************** and they used Home Town Capital for the rent to own program. I paid more than the required down payment, set up auto pay and did not have a payment due till 2-3-2023. On 1-31-2023 they reposed my trailer from a job site stating the "GPS STOPPED PINGING" and suggesting I tampered with it. I have not touched the GPS, I have not even looked to see where the GPS may be. This is 100% a case of a bad GPS installed by them. They flat out stole the trailer and are claiming breach of contract without any refund of down payment or the option to have the dealer check the GPS. I am hiring an attorney as of today and will get my trailer or refunded. Buyers stay away from any company using Hometown Capital for rent to own.

  I would not recommend this place, I got behind on payments so I was going to give my shed up (which I was told I was going to pay a certain amount but end up paying $50 more than what was quoted) so before I could get a chance to clean my shed out they picked it up on January 3rd. I called immediately trying to get the location so I could get my stuff. 1st the number that I was given no one answered and the mailbox was full, so I called Hometown to see if I could get any information from them about my shed, they told me that they will give me the address as soon they got an address. Now I work 9-5 Monday through Friday, I was calling for 3 days trying to get information of hours of operation about the location of my things. So I called Hometown back, they claim that they couldn’t get in touch with the person and that I had 15 days to get my things, and that it was on a private property So here it’s day 13 I had to take a day off and drive 2 hours to get my things, when I arrived to find out that it wasn’t on a private property and the shed was unlocked and I had items stolen out of my shed! (Two bicycles, leaf blower, weed eater, 3 fakes, air pump, speakers, household decor, two windows units ac, a lot of tools that were given to me from my grandfather) Here I’m thinking that my things were in a safe and secured place.!I know that I can’t get compensated for my stolen stuff but they should have been honest and straightforward about the location of the shed!

  Julie the account manager is rude, obnoxious, and doesn’t have the skills needed to manage let alone speak to customers. I’ve spoke to representatives from this company that we’re more professional. I was calling in regards to a refund and instead of being professional she told me she would contact her boss to let them know that I was upset about getting a refund. Not only does her sarcasm fall short but so does her intelligence. Hometowne capital needs to either retrain or demote this woman. She is a poor representation.

  I bought a building from them last year it leaks lime crazy told the company they said the guy ran off so therfore they can't find him so I owe and they will not fix my building its on me .. so I'm paying a bank the money is what they say but here I see they are still in business selling building so they are scam artist steal your Money sell u a messed up shied that leaks lime crazy and they will not do anything about it mind u this I started complaining not even 5 months after I bought it .. I have proof all messages from them saying first the person fled the country 2nd it's been over a 1 year mark they can't help anymore 3rd excess was u signed a paper saying u would except all damages if any.. u tell me ?????????

  **********: First, you did not buy a building from Hometowne Capital Management. We are a management company. We do not sell, manufacture or repair buildings--we manage the payment transactions on the rent-to-own contract you entered into when you acquired the building. Any repairs needed, or dissatisfaction that you have with the condition of your building should be addressed with the manufacturer or the sales location that you purchased the building from.
  
  Secondly--and even more importantly--we are NOT a bank. We have told you this specifically--including when you last spoke with one of our customer service representatives on May 20. We are Hometowne Capital MANAGEMENT--again, a management company. No one at our company has "fled the country." I assure you that our entire team is sitting in our office diligently managing rent-to-own contracts for our clients. We have answered every text, email and phone call that you have made to us. In fact, you have asked that we stop texting you. I would attempt to respond to the remaining portions of your review, but frankly, I am unable to even ascertain what you are attempting to state in the final portions of your "review."
