    Date of service 09/16/2022 Oil Change and Transmission flush $241.50 invoice # XXXXXX. 20 minutes after service Powertrain warning light comes on shifting problems. Car overheated and white smoke poured out from under hood. Took car back to Valvoline where they added more fluid. Several calls and filed ticket CSXXXXXXX. Several calls with no call backs finally connected and employee ********** had tow service pick up vehicle and take to ***** Transmission in Lebanon for repair. On 10/03/2022 called to check and they said car was ready to be picked up but they couldn't return the vehicle I would have to go pick it up. **** $29.90 and picked up car. ***** Transmission invoice *** showed cause was transmission was overfilled and the transmission **** not circulate the fluid across the TCM properly when overfilled prompting the temperature codes. Road test showed harsh 2-3 shift and 3-4 shift prompting cleared codes reset the shift adapts and KAM keep alive memory. Paid for service performed incorrectly. Over 2 weeks without the vehicle. $29.90 dollars to pickup vehicle. Checking the outcome of ticket opened with Valvoline they advised since the car was now back in my possession and running the ticket would be closed. No compensation for vehicle being unusable for over 2 weeks due to improper service performed or money reimbursement for going to pickup my vehicle after repairs completed.

Our records indicate that our team has diligently worked to resolve this guests concerns as quickly as possible, and paid the invoice from the repair facility as soon as our team received it. Additionally we see that this guest spoke to our Customer Care team yesterday (10/3). As our Customer Service Specialist advised during this conversation, we are happy to submit the request the Management team to review this guests request to reimburse them for the ****, but we do need the invoice in order to do this. Additionally our Customer Service Specialist did offer to reimburse this guest in the amount of $148.49 for the transmission service received at our facility, as a good faith effort to maintain Customer Satisfaction; this guest advised that they would let us know if that was something they would like to pursue. This claim has been resolved, until further information is provided by the guest as instructed by our team. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/10/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I went and paid for service that was performed. The service was performed in a manner that damaged my vehicle. They made an arraignment for my vehicle to be towed and repaired. Over 2 weeks I was without a vehicle. Then I had to take an **** to collect my vehicle. They want me to ask to have the service they performed which damaged my vehicle refunded. They made no offer to help me in the two weeks I was without a vehicle and want a receipt to show my **** ride. (Which **** driver ever gives a recipt) So I will chalk this up as what it cost to have service provided by this company.
