1 starwe contacted Big Johns in June 2021. They came out gave us a good estimate. Said they had three projects ahead of ours. But could start by the end of August or first of Sept. we agreed on the price and time frame. In the middle of October, I called They said they were running behind. and still had about three projects ahead of us. i didn't hear from Big Johns until January.At which time i advised their repensentive. We were no longer interested in doing any business with their company.Review fromTina B

5 starsBest honest contractor you will find. All my backyard projects have been done by Johns team. We have a 600 sq ft deck off our back door. A beautiful fence and an amazing pool deck just completed 2 weeks ago. John is the only contractor I will ever call. John response is always fast. I had one issue with a composite deck boar. John had it replaced within 3 days. Save yourself a headache and call Big John.Review fromMichelle A

Do not hire this company. Very poor quality. Will tell you, you have a warranty, but does not honor it. They also don't pull the building permits as they should. Lastly, they use their own staff to go online and write positive reviews about them.

To address each of Ms ********** claims… Backyard builders has permanent subcontractors that work exclusively for us.. we constantly try to improve the quality of our work. We have been in business since 1994, go through our photo gallery and see what we have built over the years.. we also can give her phone numbers of each person that left us a review so she can see their not written by us. It’s funny how a customer that wasn’t happy.. we went out twice to fix her job, still wasn’t happy, gave her all her money back , kept her free deck also, still unhappy. We ask all customers if they prefer a permit to get a home owners permit. She is on a mission to try to discourage others to call Backyard Builders… maybe she should call some of the thousand or more people who definitely think otherwise.Review fromCecil M

5 starsBig John's did a terrific job screening my back patio 2 weeks ago, at a fair price too. We are definitely pleased. Thanks John!
