Zak's Fine Furniture Response

This sofa was purchased in our Outlet. Outlet items do not have a warranty. However, a third party warranty was purchased by this customer. This company is called Montage. A claim was made by this customer with Montage. Montage asked Zak's to address this issue for them. Montage ordered parts and we installed the parts. The sofa needed new switches. We installed what Montage ordered. These switches are now in place and working. However, Montage ordered the incorrect parts and one side of this sofa has the buttons flipped. We did receive a call from this customer directly informing us of this issue and we proceeded to order the correct switch. We informed this customer we would install the correct switches when they arrive.
The actual complaint from the customer was it was taking a long time to charge his phone. I don't know why Montage ordered new switches for this issue because the time it takes is dependent on a lot of things. It has nothing to do with switches. This customer's sofa is in working order now and I can't think of anything we could have done differently to speed things up. Montage is the company who schedules the service techs and John did call this customer back informing him the correct switches would be installed as soon as they arrive. Zak's ordered the new switches and will install them directly. This is not part of his Montage claim. We did this as a courtesy.
To put things in perspective here, this customer wants us to refer to him as "god."
