On 3/28/2024 I took my son (2yrs old) for a haircut at the Master Academy of Barbering. The student struggled with the haircut (she even cut her finger while blending his fade) and when the instructor came to check it he then proceeded to cut my son’s hair and messed it up entirely. I didn’t notice at first bc they had it combed to the side. However once we got home and we brushed it forward (how he usually wears it) we were able to see how uneven it was in the front. I took him back immediately and a different student tried to fix it. His bangs are up to his hairline and there’s not much else that can be done. When I called to talk to management to complain on the instructor I was told that’s what I should expect from a school! I did a Google review of our experience and it was rather negative. About a hour after posting my Google review I began receiving text messages claiming they were a customer that was there at the time I was and my son’s hair didn’t look messed up when I left. Insinuating I did it myself after! They also told me I need to self reflect and find the good in stuff. I then go back to the Google review where I seen that the school replied to my review by saying we are sorry and we tried to fix it after you went home and cut it more (trying to cover for their own mistakes). I did NOT cut my sons hair myself! I have photos with time stamps of when we got there, left, got home and got in the car to go back down there! I wouldn’t have risked messing my sons hair up even more than it already was especially right before Easter. I have don’t a reverse lookup of the phone number texting me and it belongs to one of their students! So I believe the owner was using the students phone to harass me for leaving a negative review! I do not feel the instructor is qualified to be cutting hair and deft not teaching other how to. I paid *** *** *** *** **** * ** *** **e first time. Then gave the second student that tried to fix it the second visit a *** tip.
