              On 3/31/24 had a MRI done at UT Medical Center. Chose to have copay billed to me. After receiving the statement, I got a text that if bill was paid within 30 days I would get a discount, called UT to confirm it was not a scam. Paid the statement within the 30 days with a check, NO disclosure that to receive the discount that payment had to be made by credit card. Absolutely NO mention of credit card. This is very bad policy, I don't believe I should be responsible for UT'S mistake. They got their money within 30 days. Granted this is not much money, $21.16, but someone at UT billing made a mistake and I am not going to cover for that mistake! Thank You ***** ** ********

              I have been disputing a bill with University Health System UT Medical Center for 7 months. I was charge for one line item of therapy for a quantum of 3 as opposed to a quantity of 1. Meaning I was charged triple for that instance than I owed. I called them every month often several times a month trying to get this bill corrected. I was often promised a same day call back and never received that. This outstanding bill I was trying to have corrected, then the bill was sent to a debt collector. I called and complained and they finally corrected and refiled my bill after 5 months of calling. Two months after that, I was contacted by the debt collector again for the renewed bill that I had not even been sent yet. Finally 7 months later of polite pleading I got this bill corrected and refilled and paid and returned from the debt collector. Hopefully, surely to goodness, this is finally corrected. It has been an unacceptable and unjust experience of what I had to go through and the failure of UHS UTMC to file this corrected bill and allow me to pay the correct bill.
