Bought a new phone from this location that wasn't set up quite right at first. I had to repeatedly visit the store day after day for about 4 days since getting this thing and have had some major customer service issues. They just would ignore me wholesale. I tried to go up to folks to ask for help when they had people available and they would stare at me and not make any kind of effort to help me. It made me so frustrated that eventually i just got my phone back, and even that was messed up! Way too expensive for the service we receive. We are home owners approximately three miles from town with trees in our yard. Without leaves on our trees, we get two out of five bars. Once leaves come on, forget it. We have internet, not the low ranking internet either. As well as, four phones and a computer with this service. I’ve tried getting them to work with us. We’re tired of not being able to use the internet service on peak times ever. We will find a better service that doesn’t charge **** a month and tell you it’s worth the money when you’re getting absolutely nothing.Verizon Authorized Retailer - Cellular Sales Response

SO! As It Just Turns Out ALL ALONG! Now Here Me Out=The Representation At Celular Sales (More Like SELLular) Verizon Authrorized Retailer Are SLAMMING Customers With Tough Sales In Places No 1 Wants To See. Deep Inside Slams. Getting Slammed Deep In The Bills With Added Feeds On The Monthly Bill From Promotions That Never Whent Threw. Why I Pay For Ringtone Premium Subscription? Disney Time? I Went For Fix On Things, Sold New Phone On A Promo Post. Never Whent Threw. No Here Me Out=This Is A SLAMMING Technique Classic In The Sells You Expect From A Use Car Lot Not A Low Margin Celular Franchisey. Sad! After The Promo Never Clear Go Up, Delete This. My 81 year old mother is traumatized by the treatment of whatever young male employee (who refused to give her his name) was working early-ish in the day on Friday, June 14, 2024. Apparently her phone did something unprecedented and wonky- and unfortunately she was unable to find a way to communicate. My mom came in asking for help deciphering what her phone was needing or doing bc she was unable to text or call anyone. She let him know that she has a bit of trouble hearing. Nothing severe, and for her age she does great! The employee apparently thought the ONLY solution was to sell her a new phone. My mom’s like, “No… I don’t want that. Please just look at my phone and try to help me understand.” He refused and repeated that he knows what she needs- some new phone. She restated that she doesn’t want that at all! Would he just please look at her phone for a sec and try to help. He would not! No way to get in contact with me as her phone wasn’t working properly and she couldn’t get to my number. Not only did he dismiss and disregard her verbal statements, he caused my mother to fear for her actual physical safety and well-being. She said he started saying, “You’re hard of hearing, get out of my store! You’re hard of hearing, get out of here! Get out of MY STORE!” She gathered her things as he “escorted” her out. He watched her get into her car (creepy!) What is going on? I don’t understand why the employee refused to LISTEN to a customer’s requests and statements. Especially when it’s repeated BY THE CUSTOMER that the customer absolutely DOES NOT WANT A NEW OR DIFFERENT PHONE! Simpler: “81 yo woman finds out her granddaughter is in the hospital, naturally wants to reply. Phone messes up. Woman goes to company for assistance. Employee refuses to help, tries to shove new phone at “problem”…gets upset he won’t get a sale so he becomes hostile” It is disturbing that anyone would treat an elderly woman in our community in such a disrespectful way! I called the call center which refused to close our business account, they told me to return the equipment and the closes would be closed. I walked in the store carrying a large white box of Verizon business equipment a large group of very young people looked at the box an started laughing. I explain why I was here and what my purpose for visit was. They stated they cannot help me or my business close our accounts and call the call center yet again. I explain they were the ones that sent me! They stated they wouldn't be able to help close any accounts, take any returned equipment, or help with anything beside selling new phones and equipment to new or old customers. SORRY CUSTOMER SERVICE.... this is a great example of POST COVID.... people working that was useless, refusing to help customers, because it takes work.... beside standing behind a counter and stated she and her group of friends won't going to help solve the issue! This store is a joke, they are only interested in making money off you and signing new contracts. The call center is not much better. While I have other complaints about our Verizon customer service, I will only address one today. I did call Verizon's customer service line to resolve a wireless modem issue (had to call at least 10 times). While speaking with one associate, we found out that Verizon offers a reduced monthly rate (9.99/month) for persons with disabilities. Funny, I had never been offered this for a member of my family who shares our family plan, although when purchasing and replacing her flip phone, I always mentioned it was for my sister who is disabled (because I was always told they were phasing the flip phones out-trying to scare me into purchasing a smart phone for her). So I was very angry when I heard this, as my sister had been on our plan for about 10 years, and they had charged that line at $35/month! You can figure out the math, and for someone on a limited income, that would have been a great savings. Verizon discriminates against the disabled! Who knew? That is not acceptable to me at all. While that billing error was resolved on my next statement, I still feel like they should be held responsible for discriminating against the disabled in some way! And, of course, the Ocala Verizon sales office we go to is NOT BBB accredited, so on and on it will go. Outrageous!Verizon Authorized Retailer - Cellular Sales Response

My wife went to an Alexandria store (**** ******** **** *********** ** ****** to purchase an Apple Watch for my son - replacing his Gizmo. The sales rep (MH) upsold her saying, "If you get another iPhone as well, you're monthly cost will only increase from ~**** ** **** or less", which he had written out with the adjustments. We were charged **** the following month. I went into the store on 4 separate occasions and was told by the same sales rep that he would have it fixed. I have the receipts including his writing of "**** or less" on the bill estimate and text messages from the rep confirming the quote and assuring me that I was mistakenly overcharged due to discounts having not been appropriately applied. Each month I went in saying "It hasn't been fixed" and each time the sales rep provided a different reason and assured me he would fix it and I'd see the adjustment on my bill next month. Eventually, I gave up working with him and escalated to corporate who said they were unable to honor the sales rep's quote and could not understand why we had been provided such a quote. Unfortunately, by that time, we were unable to return the unnecessary phone without incurring significant penalties. Overall - the experience is costing us an unnecessary **** a year. Do not go to this store. When you upgrade your phone and ask how much it will cost, they do not give you an answer. But when you return your old phone, they only give you **** It's a complete scam.
