I hired Knoxweb on a literary project to publish 50 years of diaries. First payment ($2747) on 31 Dec 2021. I was quoted $5000 for the project but was charged an extra $500. Further, they do have a policy that material be suitable (morally acceptable e.g. no pornography, religious, drug, etc.) I submitted 10 pieces of writing for their assessment. Of the 7-man team, only one read the work, Mr. . He felt initially the writing may be objectionable and that I should get a GoDaddy account. As the project progressed I asked several times in the Bootcamp site (Knoxweb communication avenue) and twice asked my developer on the phone, "Are you still assessing my work for acceptability?" I received no set answer other than, "We probably won't be reading it." I also asked in the Bootcamp site, "Will anyone besides paying subscribers have access to my work?" I received no answer. I tried to speak to the owner, Mr. . He directed me to the help desk. They in turn said no 'phone calls' that I must cite a specific problem. This was the challenge: to share employee issues with employees and not the owner. For the price paid questions should be answered. Frustrated, I had no choice but to move on from Knoxweb. Further, during this time, Mr. had his identity stolen. This was a red-flag for me as all the work is through computers. I have the site they made but no one will platform it for me. It seems an industry standard not to pick up on others' web projects. I have a $5K project I can not use. Further, Mr. ' lack of communicative decorum (raising his voice, giving me orders) was the catalyst for me to move on. Final payment was made 2 March 2022 for $2747. This was all resolvable if the owner would have spared a call to clarify policy, give me a different designer, or Mr. Broyles had answered my privacy concerns. A solution: Help me platform the site on WIX (not with Mr. ), or a partial refund (50%).

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/16) */ HEllo, We provided support each step of the way, and the client voluntarily paid their balance based on their approval of the project. We produced each area as documented in the original agreement. We did accept this project and provided the development work as planned. There was not anything in the scope requiring our team to read all of this clients writings. We will be willing to move their site to another server. The best solution is to keep what we produced and migrate that site with the same workable Wordpress site that this client approved and was trained on. Thank you Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/06/20) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I am thankful for an amenable resolution and appreciate the opportunity to finalize this web project. They have my contact info and may let me know how we proceed toward actualization of the product. Thank you BBB for being a fair intermediary. Thank you.
