On January 29, 2023, I purchased a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder at Alcoa Auto Center in Alcoa, TN. The vehicle was inspected and had no dash lights and no codes came up during a professional inspection. It seemed to be a solid vehicle with no major problems. Unfortunately, service notes did not get sent to Carfax along with the 'oil change' that was submitted on 9/03/22 and 10/27/22. The service notes from Fred Anderson Nissan state that the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder had a sludged engine. This was not put on the title, nor was it put in the Carfax notes. The information was not readily available and the engine codes had been wiped clean/deleted. I am disappointed because the sludge was not declared, nor was it stated anywhere but within Nissans own work notes, not accessible to other organizations during a vehicle inspection. A sludged engine should be repaired or documented. It is not right to not disclose that information. The previous owner (during the time of service at Fred Anderson Nissan) then turned around and sold the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder at a different dealership (a Hyundai in Asheville, NC) that would not have access to the Nissans work report that mentioned 'sludge'. We would have never purchased a vehicle with a sludged engine, nor one with an engine light. None of these things were evident upon our professional inspection and are considered hiding information/facts about a vehicle that was put on the open market as a vehicle with no major (or minor) problems. We have a warranty (NVP Warranty) but they denied the claim, based on a workman at Ted Russell Nissan finding the word 'sludge' on the work reports from Fred Anderson Nissan in Sept and Oct of 2022. He reported the sludged engine to NVP and they denied coverage for the engine. We were never aware of sludge, Carfax only reported 'good' maintenance and numerous oil changes. Our professional computerized inspection had no red flags with codes and no dash lights were on, so we, in good faith purchased the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. The engine stopped accelerating on March 12, 2023. We paid ******* *ncluding 6k down, and a 2k+ Warranty.

I purchased a vehicle from Alcoa Auto Center because my family needed a second vehicle on 5/11/23. The test drive went sort of okay, with them explaining away my concerns regarding the brakes as “lot rust” that forms because a car has been sitting and usually goes away or falls off once it’s been driven. Friday morning everything was fine when I pulled off. I drove to work it’s a 30min drive by I-40 and as I was getting off at my exit, I was able to push down on my brakes to the floor. My husband went outside and said there must be a leak in the line because there is brake fluid on the ground. I was barely able to safely get home taking the recommendations of my coworkers to use my emergency brake and steer off to the side of the road or something safe I could potentially crash into in the event I couldn’t stop. Luckily I made it home safely. The vehicle had sat in front of my apartment until I got paid yesterday and could afford to get it looked at an auto shop. We used all our money for a down payment which is why we didn’t do it sooner. We had it towed to Big O tires on Kingston pike where they discovered the following issues with the car we just got not even a week ago. The auto shop said this car a (2012 Kia forte) was not cost effective to repair and would damage other components of the vehicle trying to get it fixed. They wrote me a short statement that I also provided the car lot. The car lot only said they had to wait on the owner to make a decision on what he wants to do on the vehicle. The warranty we have not only doesn’t cover the brake line, it has a 15day validation period, the finance company said the decision on what to do is up to the car lot.

Stay away from this company. I bought a car from them Feb 13. I have still not received my title due to the car's out of state title was missing a signature. Brian has offered every excuse under the sun, but still no title. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!

1/4/2023 we purchased a 08 BMW X5 we paid $13000 a few days later we noticed it smoking and leaking. We took it into the mechanic shop, thinking it would be an easy fix, but come to find out the valves are leaking onto the Cadillac converter which is very dangerous and a fire hazard. I contacted Brian and was told that he would have to get with the owner who was out of the country and he would let me know something in a day or two I heard from him and they are claiming that I declined a warranty in fact, when I was never asked I was told it is as it is because it is a used car. They are not willing to help or cover the cost of repairs and I’ve only had the vehicle for two weeks! He knew that I had a newborn in the nicu that was coming home soon, and a five-year-old, and the fact that they sold us the vehicle shows that they only care about their personal gain.
