Bought a used 2023 GMC 1500. It has been nothing but issues since I got it. I’ve taken it back for repairs 5 times in 60 days. The dealership has had the truck around 12 days in that time. Various issues on an almost $60,000 truck. Also the tailgate started opening and I lost around $2,000 in tools. It is currently back at the dealership for more repairs. They are saying they caused these current issues but I did ask them to buy the truck back or give me a”deal” on a trade. They offered me almost $5000 less than I paid for it and $0 on movement on another truck that I liked. All this to say, anyone looking to buy from this dealership should think twice. Their after sale service isn’t great. I’ve talked to almost every manager here, only one was polite but none were willing to see this situation from my point of view. Which is I have a 60k truck that I can’t trust to take me and my family around in. Absurd, I will do whatever I am able to tell everyone I know and people I don’t know about how terrible my experience has been here. DO NOT BUY HERE IF YOU LIKE A DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE.

Brad B******* discriminates Latin woman's and overcharges them. In a quote disagreement Brad answer was "I don't care". Brad is Racist and has an offensive behavior. I asked to speak with the Manager which at that time was Jeff B*** the Assistant Manager and expressed how uncomfortable this person made me feel. Jeff also informed me of the incorrect quote that Brad gave me overcharging me. I'm a well-educated woman with a master's degree and Racism it's not tolerated. Brad B******* from Serra Chevrolet of Nashville needs to be terminated.

Gabriel W**** was awesome in the sales process. I am impressed with his dedication to customers and his transparency. He did not hide anything concerning the sale and by the time we finished dealing, I felt that I was in excellent hands concerning my purchase. Thanks, Serra and Gabe, and everyone involved, for the great service! Highly recommended by this customer.

3 years ago Salesman Mark M******* promised with a we owe signed sheet 2 rear jump seats for a used 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. I have been with contact with him off an on with him telling me he’s searching finally this yr I re followed up with him and he offered me $100 dollars which is nowhere near the cost of 2 rear jump seats. I told him this and with me wanting to contact the bbc and his manager he offered me $200 dollars which is still not enough. I sent him a signed copy of agreement and he told me he didn’t write 2 and would never basically saying we altered what he wrote even though the handwriting and kinds of pen used is the same. He explained the truck had one jump seat and only needed one more which is not true then told me how does he know we didn’t take the one out which makes no sense why we take out a seat to get 2. I’ve never been so upset in my life and plan to never let anyone I know do business with this dealership as well as continue to fight this.

This is the second GM Dealer in Nashville that has zero regard for the customer after a sale. After having a transmission problem on a 2017 6-speed transmission, (my last truck before was a 2017 with an 8-speed transmission). Research had provided many discussions on the 8-speed from 2017 through 2022. GM knows about this problem. Knowing that I decided to stick with a used vehicle (after many GM products) First during purchase, they told me the 6-speed had no issues. Now out of factory warranty and extended warranty sold by the dealer (should have known) the transmission still jerks and stutters while shifting. After a while I gained confidence in the dealer. That person has since left. Fast forward, they have done all of my repairs on this truck and a XT5 Cadillac I own thinking that if the transmission failed, they would be there to help with GM. In September, I had them replace a battery in the truck (probably the first). When I picked the truck up, I noticed the radio would change channels by itself. It took me weeks to reach someone after finally I talked with the dealer Service Manage. He suggested I bring the truck in a leave for at least a week plus pay a diagnostic fee up front with no idea of repair cost. He also noted that all radios in that vintage had the same problem. I've tried others at the dealership even reaching out to the owner. GM has also been involved. After 3-months dealing with both the dealer and GM, no repair attempts (unless I pay the fee) have been offered. Last GM in this household.

The service department has questionable business ethics. After a long experience trying to resolve a vibration issue the service manager told me that there was something causing the vibration in our GMC Yukon XL Denali, but there may not be a remedy. Then after I contacted GMC Corporate he changed his mind and said the vehicle operates as designed. I was unaware that GMC builds vehicles to perform this way! Beware of the service department at Serra GMC!!

I'm quite surprised and disappointed to see that ******** is of this opinion, especially concerning our business ethics, as I was able to have GM authorize over $8500.00 in repairs for no-charge to him, as his vehicle is a 2016 Yukon with 69,000 miles and was well out of any warranty coverage. We had performed a prior transmission repair and finally a transmission replacement for a transmission shudder issue, both at no-charge. ******** stopped in once again with a concern of a slight vibration at/above 70MPH that's similar to a tire out-of-balance condition. We road-tested together and I explained that such a vibration is considered a normal condition. This is a typical characteristic of this vehicle design, as this model has a stiff suspension and 22-inch wheels that have little vibration absorption. Any improvement attempts would start with a road-force tire balance and possibly tire replacement, with both at his expense, and most likely would NOT improve the condition. He agreed that further action would not be wise. We had a nice conversation during which he mentioned nothing of his dissatisfaction and we parted ways. Ed Z******, Service Manager

    Fact corrections:
    1. The problem began when the vehicle had less than 40,000 miles. Repeated attempts by Serra Chevrolet did not resolve the issue, which was diagnosed by their technician. Serra Chevrolet acknowledged there was a problem, which still exists today. If there was a problem then and the same issues are present today, why is it considered normal today when it was a problem earlier.
    2. The problems occurs at speeds above 35 mph.
    3. To say that this is typical of a vehicle of this design is questionable as the vehicle did not have this "characteristic" until about 40,000 miles.
    4. The tires were balanced, and wheels aligned, per Serra Chevrolet at my expense. The tires all have about 15,000 miles on them. This had no effect on the problem.
    5. Phone conversations with other service departments suggest there is an issue and this is not normal.

It is hard to accept the statement that GMC builds and sells vehicles with these normal issues.

I have been going to Serra for over 12 years and I have  been overcharged for years. Dont use this dealership. I will not be coming back. I was charged 249 dollars because Technician did not want to work on my car until it was detailed. I have spent over 8 000 dollars this year alone at this service department. I am paying good money for a service it isn't there business what I have in my car. Just getting over on women!

********** had her 2010 Chevy Camaro towed in for a seat back not functioning which made her vehicle unsafe to drive. Upon check in the advisor found the interior of the vehicle was stacked full and an excessive amount of trash and debris resulting in the area to be considered an unsanitary work area for technicians. We politely explained that we need the interior cleaned out prior to having a tech work inside. ********** authorized the advisor to have her car detailed. Once management reviewed the car with the detail company they declined to work in the interior for the same concerns.

Our service manager Ed Z****** attempted contact and left a detailed voice mail explaining that we could not have the interior cleaned and she would not be charged, however if she would like to come in he would show her exactly what was needed to be removed for us to be able to perform a repair. She did not reply to his voicemail and had the vehicle towed out.

********** was not charged any money on this visit.
