This business contracts with Bridgeway Apartment Complex to tow all cars outside of guest parking despite any limitations preventing this such as no available spots. According to TN statute they are not allowed to have a blanket order to tow any car, they have to request a car specifically. This company is hunting at night and towing any car without specifications on which car exactly, so it can be any car. I was towed Friday night 10/6/2023 for parking next to a guest spot due to no availability, and was unaware of the tow until the following Sunday when I arrived back to the complex. The driver that towed me stated he was driving around the complex and saw my car was not parked exactly in the guest spot and that’s why I was towed therefore he did not receive specific instruction to tow my car, but just a blanket instruction to tow any car which goes against the statute. The driver wrote the ticket as a call in; however, he informed me and another individual in his business lobby that he drove through and spotted my car and that they drive through every night.

    Business Response

    Date: 10/10/2023

This complaint is due to someone being unhappy that she parked her car in a spot that she was not supposed to be parked in and as a result she was towed. This apartment complex has their parking plainly marked and she was not in a guest parking spot. The apartment complex has requested our services to patrol their lot and help them with the ongoing issues of people not parking correctly. They have a policy and we abide by that policy per their request. This customer also recently posted a post on our google page saying that she understands why she was towed but wanted to rant to be heard. Which she has since deleted or I would have shared that response as well. She obviously understands why she was towed and like most people that get caught illegally or incorrectly parking and get towed, is not happy about that. We are within our policies and have no intention of refunding her as we were just doing our job.
