I feel that this bank is not dependable enough when it comes to card issues. I cant get access to my card because they locked it without even trying to alert me of this matter. And now that Ive realized my card is locked without notifying me I cant even get in touch with someone because of regular business hours. I should be able to at least undo the action they took upon themselves to do or at least get someone on the phone. They NEED better service and more options when it comes to this matter. I have no access to MY money for the whole weekend because I cant even go the bank.

This company contacted me about student loan forgiveness. I have been charged $39/per month for over a year. I received emails from Aidvantage, the ********** of *********** loan servicer, stating that I was past due on my account. There has been no record of my funds from Hope Credit applied to my student loan account. I have tried to reach the company but I have not had any reply.

On May 10, 2023, someone took out a loan in my name and used my SS# that was on the dark web from a data breach at a medical facility. The bank opened an account with this person without asking for an ID. This account was opened to someone who did not have access to my ID only my SS#. Although an ID was given, it was not mine. I am now trying to clean up this mess but an account with any bank- especially a credit union, should never be opened without identification.

I opened an account with Hope Credit Union because I was told that I had to go thru them to apply for the first time hope buyers appointment they were not helpful and took all my money and refuse to give it back and close the account alledgeing dormant fees I only opened this account with the understanding I would receive 10k towards buying a new home with the city they never accommodated me. I feel deceived and believe this is fraud and their may be others who have given them money with the hopes of getting a new home and then they take their money for no reason.

Hope credit union sent a welcome member letter to my home, but I'm not a member of that bank. They don't even have an office within 3hr of my home. I called and they confirmed there was an account made in my name, birthday, address and possibly SS# that looks to be fraudulent. So they allowed someone to make an acct in my name and info. I have not lost copies of my personal documents, so there's no way they had copies of my ID or SS card. The lady who answered the phone didn't even seem surprised by my reason for calling. She denied it being a common issue, but this may be the newest scam.

On November 5, 2021, I visited Hope Credit Union located at ******************************************************. I was assisted by Teller **** (according to my receipt) who withdrew funds from my deposit account in the amount of $532.81 and issued me a cashier check payable to **************** (Check Number: 25 **********). I conduct this transaction every month and in my normal fashion, sent the cashier check to **************** via US mail. On December 2, 2021, I received a collections call from Midland advising me that my mortgage payment was 30 days late and they have not received my cashier check mailed on 11/5/2021. Normally, they received the payment within 3-5 days and this payment appears to be missing. I was advised to contact Hope Credit Union and request a stop payment to prevent the check from being used fraudulent. I made contact with a Hope Credit Union teammate, Sequoia (not sure of spelling) and do not feel I received a solution to my issue. Please accept this email as notification that I believe this cashier check has been lost or stolen. I am putting the credit union on notice and I am requesting the credit union to cancel this check immediately and issue a refund back to my account. I am willing to complete a Declaration of Loss statement confirming my request. Please have someone from your contact as soon as possible to help remedy this issue.
