I thought the purpose of a Credit Union was to help one build their credit better. In September, I had to two family deaths. I helped contribute to the funerals and I called the bank and spoke with a representative. I told him my situation, and that I would be a month late on my October payment. and he assured me that it would not affect my credit report since it was a tragic unforseen situation. I have been making my payments on time prior to that. I have been working to catch up with the one missed payment and I have. My point is they put that missing payment on my credit after the representative promised he would not put on my credit. Now my credit score has taken a huge hit, of 75 points from the score. How is the credit union helping the customer for being late on one payment due to family death and has been paying on time FAITHFULLY!!! I am asking Hope to remove that missing payment off my credit as I have caught up with my payments. Finances during the pandemic and family death were the reasons I missed that payment...it is not fair to damage my credit that way and they promised not to. I ask you to help me, to ensure Hope Credit Union keeps their promise and do their job to help customers maintain and build good creditInitial Complaint

Good evening. I am so frustrated right now. I have had money stolen from my account. On November 21 I went to check my account for a withdrawal from my account to purchase and close on my home; and almost 2,000.00 was debited from my account. Three charges, $930.10, $926.35, and, $0.07. These charges have been pending and bank says cannot stop payment or return due to pending status. I have been trying to get this resolved but teller said I had to wait til pending amounts cleared. I have no account with crypto.com ( who took these funds) and don't know what it is. No one can tell me how this happened or why. I have had to pull from my job just to have money for Thanksgiving. I need my funds back in my account. I have car note and loan from Hope, to pay from that money that was stolen from me. Please someone help! My number is XXX-XXX-XXXX and email is **********@gmail.com Ps. Tried to contact crypto.com and there is no number to reach anyone, scam!!! I was only able to dispute one charge, because it was the only one cleared, with no current resolution. And it is now a Holiday, I just purchased a home with no money to pay movers!! Absolutely unacceptable.
