You need to go with another a/c company. They only like new installs after that don't expect any more service. They put you off or cancel at the last minute never to reschedule. I have tried to call 4 times I never got a return phone call. They must not be able to afford office help. It's always a service. I get tired of hearing from the service I'm sorry I'll pass the message along no call back. So please do yourself a favor and run away I mean RUN RUN RUN DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU. This company is one of the worst I have ever worked with. They may pride themselves on their guarantees, but their main concern seems to be their sales department. We had a new A/C unit installed in 2022 and have had a small yet ongoing issue with it since the install. However, *************** has only found ways to charge us additional fees to "fix" the problem, without offering any real solutions. They don't keep good records, so I have to re-explain the issue every time I contact them, or a technician is sent to my home. Additionally, getting someone from quality control on the phone is nearly impossible, so they make actually sending in a complaint to the company itself a complete joke.. they just do not care about their customers at all. We scheduled an appointment for today between 10 am and 2 pm. We gave them my phone number and were told they would give me a call 10 minutes before they arrive. Two pm came and went, no phone call. At 3:45, we called their customer service and were told they were running behind, but we were still on their schedule. At 5 pm we called again, and were told they moved our appointment (without telling us) to the 6pm to 10pm time slot. This is unacceptable as I stayed home all day for this appointment and asked to speak to a manager. They told us a manager would call us back. At 8:15 pm, we called again because we had not heard from the person scheduled to service our AC unit, nor the manager. This customer service agent told us that not only had the managers days ended and we would not be getting a call back, but that they dont have anyone available in our area between 6-10 pm and we would need to reschedule. She was able to find that they called my husband at 1pm because they scheduled our appointment incorrectly. My husband did not stay home from work and was not able to answer his phone- which is why we gave them my phone number. Not only did multiple customer service agents lie to us, but this level of incompetence is shocking. We did not organize an appointment for 6-10 pm- thats ridiculous. Not only did they waste my entire day because of their ineptitude, but two customer service agents gave us the run around when they could have pulled up our appointment and told us they made a mistake and we could have rescheduled. Im wildly disappointed with my interactions and at this point, Im not sure Blue Flame even deserves our business.ARS/Rescue Rooter Response

Dear readers, I highly recommend that you do not use ARS Rescue Rooter ******** They will literally scam you. I have 10 year warranty on my AC unit, they tried to charge me $326 for my capacitor. I had someone from Carrier explain Im covered, he called his Manager and then told me the service fee is $326, IRONICALLY the same exact price at what they wanted to charge me for the part. They are charging people to cover the costs of the losses for the warranty. FRAUD.ARS/Rescue Rooter Response

WEEK 7!! and still waiting for 1 blower motor from Carrrier!!!!!!! I was sold on Carrier because its made in the ***! Both of my units blower motors failed within 1 week of each other, after less than 4 years. Apparently there are no blower motors anywhere in the U.S. Carrier is clearly not able to provide parts to support what it sells you! Even though the motor/motors are covered under warranty, ARS is charging me $600 to INSTALL EACH MOTOR!! ARS Rescue Rooter installed a new system for us 11/2019. Fast forward to 6/30/2024. ** stopped working. We called ARS and made an appointment for 7/1. The tech was courteous and said we had a blown fuse and the unit needed cleaning. He mentioned adding a breaker as he claimed my old wiring was causing the fuse to blow. Since this is the first time in almost 5 years, I didnt think it was electrical. We were completely floored by the cost: $109 to diagnose, $285 to change the fuse, and $485 dollars to clean the condenser. On 7/4 we went out of town and returned on 7/6 to 90 degrees in our home. I called ARS and was initially told the earliest was Monday, but they worked it, so the Tech arrived by 9PM. He said the same fuse had blown again. He did checks to determine why, and said we needed Freon cost $350. Within an hour, the system shut down again. On Sunday, we called ARS and were told Monday at the earliest they could come. I checked the quick disconnect (which contains the fuses) and the connection of the handle felt very loose. The same fuse had blown again. I purchased new fuses$24 for a pack of 2 at **********, changed the fuse, and the ** kicked on. The fuse blew again on 7/9. I called ARS, a Tech came and said we needed 35A fuses. He didnt realize we had a 30A breaker and a 30A Quick Disconnect so we couldnt use 35A fuses. More bad advice! On 7/10, the fuse blew again. ARS promised my issue was being elevated, and a manager would call me. Never heard from them and I called to make another service appointment for the 11th. That tech said I needed to replace my Quick Disconnect as the side where the fuse was blowing was no longer making a good connection. I had an electrician change and it now seems fine. I think the initial tech was partially to blame as it appeared the quick disconnect was pulled apart to We are out more than $1,200 from ARS and to date no Manager or ***************** person has called us back.ARS/Rescue Rooter Response

ARS came to my home to repair my Carrier AC unit when it would not turn on during a 95 degree heat wave. The technician inspected the system and told me he could not get it running or repair it without several thousand dollars worth of parts and labor. He suggested I contact ARS to discuss a new system. I was suspicious about a repair visit that turned into a sales pitch. A neighbor had a local AC repairman at his house when this happened. He looked at my outside unit, replaced a defective capacitor and my AC was working within 15 minutes. Its been running without a problem for several weeks Ive been a customer with ******************** for over 15 years and to be treated this way is more than puzzling. Several calls to ARS have been unreturned. When I finally did get to speak with someone no action or feedback ever happened. Eventually I will need to replace this system but how can I ever trust a company that misleads me and then wont communicate with me.ARS/Rescue Rooter Response

They overcharge and then get upset when you challenge them. We have been customers for quite a while and used their ******************** service. They charged us $330 per toilet to fix for minor repairs. This is PRICE GOUGING. The plumbing manager was no help and he thinks their pricing is fair. Given a chance to change the charges he declined and stood behind their policies. I will never use them again. And it took the repair person several times to get it right.Review from Scott K

If you're reading this before buying, run. Run fast and run far. This company openly admits they aren't the cheapest in other reviews and then claims they back it up with service. Three no call/no shows on an appointment. Randomly sent someone out on the 4th of July and fortunately I was in the neighborhood. After that call the filter drawer is stuck, the air handler they installed less than a year ago is leaking, and they've stood me up with zero communication three times in a row. A company that can't get someone out to stand behind their work and product in a 6 hour window when they say they will isn't a company. It's a scam.
