Contractor came to house 4/24/24 for damage repair following a pipe burst in small hallway bathroom (less than 100 sq ft). Received quote, approved through insurance, took weeks to get work scheduled. Voice concerns throughout process including June 23 about tub not being installed properly. Tub was then tiled around. June 26th tile grout surrounding tub cracked due to tub not being resolved prior to sending out tile guy. Sheet rock guys and painters had to return 3 times do to simply poor quality of work. Fast forward to today august 28 (yes a month later) do to lack of communication from contractor he arrives after the set 9am appt to inspect tub and come up with action plan/resolution. Cuts a giant hole in the wall in the neighboring closet, then we have a nice long conversation about the dissatisfaction of where we are in the process of project completion. He assures me that the plumber left to talk with associates and obtain tools needed for the job. Here I sit more than 4 months after start of project with a non functioning bathroom, and half a wall missing out of a bedroom closet. I went over my assigned adjusters head to speak with management at Easley. They do not answer the phone, nor have they called back after multiple messages with their assistant ****.

House fire December 13, 2022. Was told home be ready by Easley contractors in 1 to 2 months back at home by the end of February our home around December 15 to start removing items from our kitchen which is where the fire occurred but no one showed. Second week in January, and we still had not heard from ServiceMaster or the contractors from, Easley contractors about working out at home. Just back in Home first week of June 2023 no hot water no beds to sleep in 4phone jacks covered coming to clear out the kitchen and fridges and freezers because house smells really bad now.Easley could come in and start working on my kitchen cabinets and clearing out the refrigerators and freezers which were full of food that had sat in there and rotted because we were told not to touch it That ServiceMaster will clean it out as part of our insurance claim. Easley would not start on the kitchen cabinets until ServiceMaster came in and clean out all the burnt containers of food so that they could tear the old cabinets down. They were supposed to put in custom built cabinets just as they once were in the kitchen before the fire. They did not do this. What they did was show us pictures of blueprints which neither my husband or myself knew how to read and asked us if this was how we wanted it and we told them we didnt know how to read blueprints but what we did want is the custom made cabinets that we were told we were getting made exactly like the cabinets that were in our house Before the fire.Only thing we wanted to do was to pick the doors the different fronts for the cabinets. and I know what we got was not custom-made cabinets but factory cabinets they were not near the dimensions and the We had custom ventilation, put into our home five years ago and now we cant use it because theyve covered it up when we had our new roof put on These are a lot smaller. The entire house is done wrong. Weve been at our house for 2 weeks and they have not been back yet.

The scope of this complaint involves another contractor and should only have been directed at the work done by Easley Contractors.  We are currently working with the customer to resolve items that were part of our scope of work only.  The customer said they intend to retract this complaint as soon as we resolve issues within our scope of work.  Easley could not begin work until the house was packed out and cleaned up by a different contractor who is mentioned in the complaint and this would include issues with the refrigerator and beds.  The customer is responsible for getting the four phone jacks installed by ********** phone company.  The homeowner signed the order for custom factory made cabinets and is not happy with the product even though the product was made according to the specifications authorized by the customer.  The vent-a-hood issue can be resolved with minor modification to the cabinets.
