    Im writing to document an incident that happened back in January right before we had the snow and ice storm. I came in on Thursday afternoon and got a pedicure. I accidentally left my brand new ****** sneakers behind and I called 2 days later to ask if they were there. I described the exact pair of sneakers to the employee on the phone and they said that they were there, and that they were putting them aside for me so that I could come get them. We then had the snow and ice storm, so I came back to the salon as soon as the roads were clear and your establishment was back open. My sneakers were then not there. This tells me that one of their employees took a liking to them and walked off with them. Then I was told, well, no, theyre put in the corner if someone leaves something behind. So I asked, are they put in the corner in a place that is out in the open and visible to the public?? Yes, I was told. And I was also told that they dont take responsibility for belongings left behind. Well, if I left something behind, and I asked that they please put them aside because I was coming back to get them, and they were put in a corner where somebody at the establishment as a customer could have access to them and take them, then it is THEIR responsibility!! They should have been put somewhere safe so that they werent stollen, and any outcome that happened after I was told that they were there and that they were being held for me, is THE ESTABLISHMENTS responsibility!! This is completely unacceptable and now Im out my $75 pair of sneakers that I had worn about 5 times. The fact that I am being told that there is nothing that can be done for my loss, someone who has been a loyal customer, is really unfortunate and a horrible way to run a business. I will not be returning to this establishment.
