I signed up for his P&C license class. Attended all required class days. Took my test twice now and failed both times. My job depends on this class. His website is written and reads in a way that a refund can be provided of you fail the test two times after attending all classes. I've asked for this refund and am being told I must attend the class again free of charge in order to get the refund. On the site it does read like that it is an option to attend for up to six months but it does not read as if that is required to receive the refund. I can not afford to keep taking off work to attend a class where I hear more about golf than I do the material I need for the final exam.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/21) */ Our refund reads 100% tuition refund for Property and Casualty class on request if student does not pass on 2nd try, provided they attend all classes and review each time. Passing on the second try means just that- they must attend the four day class again(free of charge)and attend the review after which they would take the state test for the second time. If the student attends the 4 day class, and the review session and takes the test and fails, and then once again, attends the 4 day class, and review, and takes the test again and fails, they will receive a refund upon request. This student only attended the 4 day class one time. She did not attend the required review. Clearly she did not fulfill the requirements for our refund. My goal is to see each student pass the state exam. I've been teaching for over 25 years and have had great success. One of the reasons for this success is one on one free tutoring for any of my students. This student turned me down on helping her. I spend many hours outside of class time to help my students pass their state insurance pre-licensing exams! Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/01/05) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Obviously there is an issue with the course he taught this time around. Like stated several people did not pass even their second time around. My employer forced me to pay for another class with another provider that was self taught online and after 3 weeks of completing this second course I passed my test on the third try. There was so much information in the other companys class that was on the exam that was never taught in your school it is crazy. This should be an eye opener that it is either time to update your lesson, talk less about golf or retire. I am still demanding a full refund. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/01/17) */ Conditions must be met to qualify for a refund---the student must come to class again and attend the review days after each class. This student did not do these things and so did not qualify for a refund. If the student doesn't put in the effort needed, the instructor cannot help the student pass.It is very clear that she is not entitled to a refund because she did not meet the stated requirements.
