Date of occurrence was in 2019, I leases a vehicle from American car center a ******. After having the vehicle for not even a month the motor went out. So they swapped out for another vehicle in which I didnt pick, which was another so ago. I started having the same issues. So I returned the vehicle and got out of the lease and Im now seeing that they put this on my credit. I dont know when it got there and theres no one to talk to being that the company is closedInitial Complaint

On February 16 2023 my husband *********************** an I paid for a car title that American Car Center said had to be paid before we receive the title one month later the business went out of business they received the payment but we havent retained a title and its like when we call we dont exist as a customer to the them .. I got a car from American Car center in November of 2022. When I got the car, we were told nothing was wrong with it at all and that I have a 3-month warranty on the van. The next day I started having issues with the radiator, so they had paid for it to be fix but it was fixed and then when I picked it up and drove away it cut off, I also requested for a copy of the original contract that i signed multiple times and they did not even provide me with that document at all. I ended up having to take it back again because it was having other issues, so I was unable to drive it. It put me in a bind because I had pawned my title to my owned car to get a bigger vehicle because I have four toddlers. My owned SUV only had one row so I had to upgrade and the only way I could do that was to **** my title for a downpayment. American Car center ended up closing down and left me with a vehicle that was broken down. Whoever they sold their business too or had taken over their business informed me that they would not be covering any cost to get the van fixed. So, I was left with a broken lemon. I couldn't afford two car notes. I was giving up my other car for this one but ended up having to my owned SUV and pay on my loan. I ended up losing my owned car behind this. It is not fair that i have to be held responsible. Anytime i get a vehicle I make sure it comes with a warranty for these types of reasons. They received my money and went ghost leaving me and my children in a bind. I did not only lose my van but i lost my personal owned vehicle trusting them. I had no idea about the BBB and at the time i had just had a baby too. Ok back in June of 2022 I leased a 2016 Kia ***** with 74,000miles from American Car Center.When purchasing the car.I put 500 down filled out the paperwork and drove off .I have documents stating that it wasn't never a total amount of the vehicle on none of the paperwork.Ok American Car Center went bankrupt and now ***************************** took over them and by me having Credit Karma I see the total amount and it's unfair to the amount of the car.I done gave them ****** so far and still owe ****** on the car .The car is used it's worth ***** dollars .I'm feeling really ripped off and I asked them if I turn the car in they said what ever they sell the car for I'm stuck paying the remainder of the balance.I fell as if I done paid for the car already.I fell as if they owe me moneyInitial Complaint

On April 29th I signed a sales contract with a trade in. I took ownership of new vehicle May 24th and to this very moment the vehicle I traded in has not been paid off. I am currently still responsible for making payments on that vehicle and carrying full coverage insurance. Meanwhile this week the business in question sold the vehicle I traded in without paying it off so now I'm paying a loan and insurance on a vehicle that I don't even know the location of. I was not made aware of the sale of the vehicle and was lied to multiple times about the vehicle that I traded in being paid off. All I want is for them to pay the vehicle off so that I can be done with them and never have to do business with them again. I'm not even worried about the over $1000 in rental car expenses they told me they would reimburse me for. Also the address they have on file with you all is not correct. They are currently at *************************************************************************** and their phone number is *************. I bought a 2019 ****** Kick (10/2022) got a tag in my ***********, in Jan 2024 tried to renew my tag and registration. *** of MS referred me back to ACC or ****************** do the fact application for vehicle title was never received and car was never registered in ***************** did not have ANY paperwork on the vehicle. For the past 4 months since Jan 2024, have been going back and forward with Westlake and MS *** with no progress. I have still been making payments for the *** and can not even drive the car. I got my car(2016 ********** Passat) from American Car Center February 2023, the company went bakrupt March 2023 and switched to ******************. Once my 30 day tag was up in March of 2023 i went to the *** to get my hard tag but was told my car isn't registered. I was dropped by my insurance do to my car not being registered. I have to limit where I can go due to the fact that my car can be towed because i don't have a tag. My car has been towed and I have had to go threw so much just to get it back. I have tried to give ******** their car back and i was told "We cant take it back, we dont handle that."
