Met with Agent ****** **** on May 17,2022 for a $900 Apt with water included and Only electricity in my name. Ms. **** made sure to tell me, Water was included and I'd have to put the electricity in my name. She would need a $900 money order and she wanted me to pay a$50 application fee.(Under those terms) May 17, I paid the $50 fee and was approved. We agreed upon May 30,2022 as my Move in Day. At NO point did Ms ****** Tell me that More money was needed and No Conversation to Update me on Any Change of Policy took place. And we spoke several times ,Until May 30. Move in Day she told me I Now had to pay an additional $80 for water and lights ,because IT SLIPPED her mind. I politely declined the apt and told her ,that was NOT the Terms, ID like my $50 fee back. She said NO, it's Nonrefundable. I explained that ,Under different circumstances, it would be, but not in MY case. She said she had Authority from Higher Ups, not to Return it. (She works with *** ******** ********** Group LLC) They also were annoyed and Told me, I'm not getting it back.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/09/02) */ We have spoken to the consumer on several occasions and explained that it is clearly stated on our website that all application fees are nonrefundable regardless of situation. This was an apartment complex in Kentucky where there was a miscommunication between the property manager and the consumer.
