This same complaint has been filed with the Maaco Auto Body Shop and Painting franchise location in ************, **, and their corporate office in ********, **. Insurance fraud and vandalism led to my vehicle being totaled. A $4,825.95 claim cost my insurance company $13,463.39. My insurance company does not have a network of body shops, and the only reason I was compensated by my insurance but not in full was due to a new employee with my insurance company referring me in email to go to this Maaco location. I know being out-of-network made me a walking target, but at the same time I have OIF military plates on my vehicle and it makes me wonder if that had something to do with it due to the extent of the vandalism. I spoke to their corporate office, and they will not help me to resolve this because they claim it's due to this location being a franchise. Afterward, the corporate office sent me a letter claiming the franchise had compensated me. This is not true if you run my VIN number *****************. You will see that it is now a salvaged title. All I've asked for this entire time is either financial compensation or my vehicle to be replaced with me signing my title over to the company. The trunk floods, and I have a big family to care for that I do not want to suffer from respiratory infections from the mildew and mold. I deserve another vehicle of comparable age and mileage or financial compensation. I am not trying to take advantage of the business in requesting a brand new vehicle but need what I had replaced. I have filed complaints with the ******************************** ******************** at the ************************ report number *********, and a Consumer Affairs complaint with the Tennessee ************************** which went unanswered.

This is what it looks like now. The uniside panel was not replaced. They hooked it up somehow and pulled it until it ripped the metal apart that is my vehicle's body.
