Brought my daughter in for X-rays and an exam due to her mouth hurting. When the dentist came to discuss “options” for my daughter, it was less than a 5 minute interaction leaving me very confused. They stated she needed 2 fillings, 4 caps, but did not show me her X-rays or discuss me which teeth had the cavities. The dentist started discussing sedations with me since she’s young. Light sedation but she would need to come into the office twice Or put her under for the procedure to complete all at once. I thought the dentist had recommended the light sedation when he was discussing options, But was brought into another room to make an appointment for my daughter to be put under for the procedure. I had bad feelings and was very confused. It felt like a business transaction and it did not feel right. My husband later called to get clarification on why she needed to go under and was told she had a root canal. . . And it was very invasive and that she also needed 4 caps and 2 fillings. . . Which the root canal was not previously disclosed. They started requesting her medical insurance information so they could schedule her. My husband requested an estimate for the procedure but was told they had to run her insurance first. I decided to request her X-rays and take her to another dentist who verified she DOES NOT have a root canal. She does need 4 caps, but they do not see additional cavities that require fillings. And she does not need to be put under for them to perform the procedure. Performing such an invasive procedure would be detrimental to her teeth especially since all her teeth are baby teeth. I knew I had a bad feeling when I left and I am glad I got a second opinion before putting my trust into this business with my child.

NEVER have I ever dealt with a business as rude and inconsiderate as Wild About Smiles! We go in to get my special needs child help because she chipped her tooth after getting ahold a set of ratchet straps. We get put in a room like normal, they go to try and look and my child gets a little unhinged. As we sit and wait for a determination im then bumbarded with questions as being accused of absuing my child. Then the dentist returns only to tell me they are transferring her out of their program with claims of her being 14 is too old for them. They told me they would refer us to the Dental Team, i then ask if they could help because i had already been trying to get in touch with the same location for myself and was unsuccessful. In our room they told me no problem, we get to the receptionist and im told here is your referral. I asked if they were going to call and she tells me no, thats why theyre handing me all the paperwork. So now they inactivated a special needs child without proper furthering care. As a parent of a problematic child it felt more like she was just too much for them to deal with. They've NOW taken it upon themselves to remove my 6 year old as well. Reasoning for that, because I was dissatisfied with my previous visit and I was cussing in the parking lot? Okay let's put some actual context to that, how about after leaving the office upset because they've now pushed my child out without any further help, I was IN MY OWN VEHICLE WITH DOORS CLOSED on the phone with my own mother, when the office manager Leslie S***** came TO MY DOOR AND ASKED ME TO OPEN IT. When I asked her to just leave me alone because yall weren't any help to begin with, she continues to pester. Your associate harassed me. Then to be belittled by the Business manager Brandy D**** ******* and refused to leave a message for the doctor. No instead they canceled the youngest child's appointment without notice. Patient abandonment is unacceptable.
