    When applying for financing staff will continue to say we need to run this to see what you qualify for They will run your credit for 2-3 different companies. Pet land employees DO NOT mention when they run this report they are signing you up for their store credit card. Staff claims I signed an agreement to consent to opening a credit card, they can no longer provide that document. Even after financing through a different company petland will still open a card in your name. There is 0 mention of this. Employees do not say mention anything along the lines of so youll receive a card in the mail or so when we run this it will open a card of your behalf THIS NEEDS TO BE MENTIONED AND HAVE FULL TRANSPARENCY. When contacting the credit card company peatland opened with informing the staff members say this is a common issue amongst staff at this location.

    Attached is a blank credit application where the customer fills out their personal information and signs at the bottom to give consent for their credit to be run with our 3rd party credit companies.  The petland credit card is always run first but she did not qualify for enough so we went to the next credit company who approved her purchase.  The petland card was mailed to her a few weeks later but of course does not have any charges on it as it was not the one used for the purchase.  She is welcome to close the account if she does not wish to use it. We can not provide her with her original application because they are shred in store immediately after the credit is run to protect our customer's personal information including social security number, birthday, address and other information.
