This company is a complete scam , do not do business with them at all we missed one payment and late on the other and they never reach out and put our building on the pick up list, but when we called to pay it off they said only by credit card or bank account, we have neither we told them we send money order they said no because it was the 29th and it had to be there by 30th they finally agreed if we got it post marked on envelope send pictures of it and money order by email they accept it , they never confirm they received it. They extremely poor company, do not rent from them ever, this company has no integrity what so ever!!

I feel like I can not get ahead of paying this building off. There are so many "fees" even ACH fees to pay your building off, you may never pay it down, which might be the point. If you do the math, the interest rate is about 30+% when you calculate the starting balance over time and how many payments would be made. Had I known all of this and done proper research I never would have bought this building.

Well my building was moved without my knowledge, and I was still making payments on time. They wanted me to pay a pickup fee, which was added on to the amount owed on the cabin. As I continued to make payments, they said they were going to late fees. I mail my payments on the 3rd of every month and it only takes 3 to 5 days to reach them according to the postal service. They are a trip off, never will I do busy with them again... I'll go to ******** ****  ******** whom I also had a building with at the same time. It was picked up at the same time. They didn't charge me a fee of any kind and told me to just keep making my payments, which I did & it's played off. I strongly recommend not using key buildings...

There is no way to contact them beside the post office. There is no web site, phone number or online payment options. Everything is done by mail and check. This is the second month in a row they cashed my check before the date on the check, causing it to bounce. But they want their additional $25 in seven days. I have reached out to the VA to see if they can assist me with the ramifications if this happens again. I have also requested my payoff balance twice in the past with nothing in return both times.

This place is an absolute scam. They are all about taking your money. After paying on a building for three years I was finally ready to pay it off. Unfortunately I made a mistake on the payoff amount and we're short a few dollars. A month later I get a notice that I owe another month. I asked okay. What is the new payoff. Another month plus late fees and they charge you a fee to take your payment? Did not want to pay the extra fee so mailed the new payoff. They claim they did not receive it by the due date so now I owe another month in late fees again. So my $10 mistake on the payoff now is up to over $400 in new rental fees. When you call customer service they know nothing. They cannot look up payoffs. They must request it from another department. Seems completely sketchy. My advice is unless you have no choice do not rent to buy anything that is done through key buildings
