It is completely unacceptable that my claim has been dragged out for nearly a month with no urgency or professionalism on your end. I was told it would take 7-10 business days to evaluate my submitted documents, yet here we are well past that timeframe with no resolution. I have provided all necessary documentation regarding my medical expenses and lost wages, and there is no justifiable reason for this continued delay. If your goal is to make this process as frustrating as possible in hopes that I’ll just accept a lowball offer, think again. I expect an immediate update on the status of my settlement and a resolution without further excuses. If I do not receive a prompt response, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further. I strongly suggest you handle this claim with the professionalism and urgency that should have been there from the beginning.Review from Tiffany J

I too have been experiencing the same thing same problems with 1st Acceptance insurance you call they transfer you to the same person that never answers the phone which is Nicholas S******** my Claim Adjuster no response no emails back. I called to speak to a supervisor. I never get to speak to a supervisor then the case was transferred over to Brittany M*****. She never answers the phone and at this rate, they were trying to say the person who hit me they were investigating his proof of coverage, which doesn’t take that long the accident happened December 23 2024 and I have yet to talk to anyone about this claim they sent out an inspector to my home to view to take pictures andI still haven’t heard anything And I’m so heated with anger because this is ridiculous im reporting and suing the company They really need to go out of business at this point because they’re not helping the situation at all You will be hearing from my attorneyReview from Tonya B

I was hit by a client of First Acceptance - the police came, gave him 2 citations and I contacted them to initiate a claim. When I was hit I was 10 minutes away from selling the car. The buyer chose to take it, but I ended up having to take 25% off of the price. This junk insurance company accepted liability (I have it in an email) and then said that since they couldn't inspect the car, they won't pay me for the damages. I don't have the car anymore you idiots and I told you that. You have tons of pictures, a video of the damage, but insist on inspecting it in person. I'm not stupid - you are doing whatever you can not to pay the claim. You should be put out of business and I certainly hope that you do fail miserably.First Acceptance Insurance Company Response

I reported a claim to First Acceptance on 11-07-2024, assigned Brittany M. I have not heard from anyone in over 2 months. There is a message when you leave a voicemail to not leave more than one message because it will delay their response back I have mailed and attempted to talk with Customer service. I can drive my car but there a huge dent in my back door and it squeaks. Customer Service doesn't help they put you through to the adjusters line. This is crazy, it's going on 3 months!Review from Carla I

I reported a claim to First Acceptance on 1/3/2025. I was assigned an adjuster Sarah D****** and have not heard from her in 10 days. I have called and left messages; her voicemail says "Do not leave multiple messages as this will delay our response to you!" I would not have called multiple times if she had returned my first phone call. My car thankfully is drivable but what if it wasn't? I called customer service and they told me they could not help me. In the meantime, the back end of my car is falling off, the back lights do not work, but I have to drive it to work etc. The lack of customer service is appalling; how is this company still in business? I read other reviews and customers had to wait months to get an estimate of damage.First Acceptance Insurance Company Response

That is incorrect First Acceptance Insurance Co. Sarah D the adjuster called once on January 14 and spoke with my husband and me. We were sent a link to answer questions and upload photos of the car damage. It has been 9 days and we have not heard from her since. The other driver who hit us, who we know personally received one call from Sarah on January 14, but he was not available (school student) and he called her back 3 times and has never heard from her either. We still have not had an adjuster come and look at our car and it's been 3 weeks since we filed our claim. I called Sarah D today 1/22/2024 for an update, again it went straight to voicemail. The other driver also called her today - no answer. I called First Acceptance customer service 3 times today and they were supposed to transfer me to a supervisor instead I was forwarded to Sarah's voicemail. I am filing another complaint with the Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner.Review from Maia W

My accident was on November 1. It's been 2 months now and they still haven't resolved the prob. I've called my advisor and his supervisor and no one has responded to me. I got one call from them sense the accident but my advisor was very rude when I actually got to talk to them on the 15 saying my bank didn't fill out everything he needed.. I was sent an email on December 31 saying everything was done and my lean holder should get a check. My bank still hasn't gotten a check and my advisor nor his boss has gotten back to my calls. I called and they have changed my advisor this insurance company has shown no care that it's been two months and still nothing.First Acceptance Insurance Company Response

My insurance is with first acceptance and when I reported the matter to the adjuster on 12.19.24 and they assigned me at fault. I explained to them the person who hit me (t-boned) was never stationary and they were not in the proper lane in the first place. The adjuster from first acceptance said I was at fault due to the commonality of a statement from myself and the other driver mentioning I admitted of making a turn. When I mentioned that the other driver was in the wrong position, the adjuster states..."we did not touch on that". Then the other driver filed a police report with no license, no proof of insurance. During the accident scene, the other driver who hit my car threaten me and asked for my proof of insurance. When I asked for his, he sent it to me via text. When i reviewed and called his insurance company, they had no information on the vehicle or the driver. When I visited the police station in association with the district the accident occurred in, the officer who created the report stated, "when driver was asked where was his paper work for the car and license?" The reply was "it was in his vehicle that was towed away by tow company". The interesting thing is, police report was filed, first acceptance did not even have it and they were waiting for the other driver to submit it to them. How would you know to take the other drivers side or word if you have no information? First Acceptance took my statement and said they were willing to pay for other driver's damages. My policy was liability, So what did I do? I went to the police station to provide a supplemental to the report and set the record straight. Not only did they found me in the right, they discovered the other driver was in the wrong, by him being in the wrong position based on the pictures I provided from the scene and ****** maps. As of 1.6.25, I still have not heard from first acceptance. Police discovered driver has suspended license and car is registered elsewhere.First Acceptance Insurance Company Response

My accident was on 09/09/2024! My car was totaled by a First Acceptance Ins customer. I waited for over two months before they sent anyone out to look at my car. I couldn't reach anyone to tell me the progress, it took the agent from my insurance company to reach out. They finally sent someone to look gave an estimate. And guess called me left a message and when I called back never could get an answer. First my car is totaled then I I had to come out of my pocket to get a new car and still haven't been compensated. So my car that was paid for is now I have a fresh car payment and higher insurance, and all at My expense! Still waiting on a phone call a check Something. And to top that off they picked up my car from the tow yard, no communication at all!!!!!First Acceptance Insurance Company Response

My car was rear-ended by another driver, whose insurance company was First Acceptance. What followed has been an absolute nightmare. The repair costs exceeded $6,000, and since our car was accident-free before the crash, we filed a diminished value claim with them. That’s when the trouble began. First Acceptance started ignoring emails, making the negotiation process unnecessarily frustrating and drawn-out. The first time they failed to respond, we waited 48 days with no reply. Only after filing a complaint on BBB did they finally get back to us. They then requested additional documents, so we had the appraisal team to generate a new appraisal for their review. Now, it has been over five months, and we still have not received a response. To make matters worse, the "Property Damage Adjuster", Sakhone, now appears unreachable, as his email address has been deactivated. This company is not BBB accredited, and their behavior demonstrates a clear lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for their customers. I am currently working with a lawyer to pursue a bad faith claim in Arizona. If anyone else has had a similar experience with First Acceptance, we should consider filing a class action lawsuit together. Avoid this company at all costs if you value timely, professional, and fair service.First Acceptance Insurance Company Response
